Result of Poll for Proposed Loan, Waipipi Road Board, County of Manukau.

THE following notice, received from the Chairman of the Waipipi Road Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1886."

RESULT OF POLL.
At a poll of the ratepayers of the No. 4 Subdivision of the Waipipi Road District, taken at Waipipi on the 15th January, 1894, under the provisions of "The Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886," in order to ascertain whether the Waipipi Road Board should raise a loan of £80 for the purpose of extending and improving the Waipipi wharf, the total number of ratepayers on the roll were 64, entitled to 69 votes; 35 ratepayers, entitled to 35 votes, voted in favour of the proposition; no votes were recorded against the proposition; 29 ratepayers, entitled to 34 votes, abstained from voting.
I therefore declare the proposition to be carried.

MANAWATU COUNTY COUNCIL.
THE following is the result of a poll taken on the 20th day of January, 1894, on a proposal to raise a loan of £775, under the provisions of "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1886," and amendments thereof, for various public works within the Sandon Riding:—
Number of ratepayers on roll, 110; number of votes exercisable, 163: Number of ratepayers who voted for the proposal, 67; number of ratepayers who voted against the proposal, 1; number of votes recorded for the proposal, 109; number of votes recorded against the proposal, 2.
As a majority in number of the ratepayers have voted in favour of the proposal, and the number so voting are entitled to more than one-half in number of the votes which could be exercised by the whole number of the ratepayers, I hereby declare the proposal carried.

MANAWATU COUNTY COUNCIL.
THE following is the result of a poll taken on the 19th day of January, 1894, at the residence of Mr. T. Richardson, Matahiwi, on the proposal to borrow £200, under the provisions of "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1886," and amendments thereof, to pay cost of land for a road to connect McDonell's Line with the Main Road to Bulls and Sanson, and also to pay cost of fencing one side of the same:—
Number of ratepayers on special roll, 6; number of votes exercisable, 10: Number of ratepayers who voted for the proposal, 6; number of ratepayers who voted against the proposal, nil; number of votes recorded for the proposal, 10; number of votes recorded against the proposal, nil.
As a majority in number of the ratepayers have voted in favour of the proposal, and the number so voting are entitled to more than one-half in number of the votes which could be exercised by the whole number of ratepayers, I hereby declare the proposal carried.

Notice of the Laying-off of a Road over Lands in the Auckland Land District.
NOTICE is hereby given, by direction of His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, under the authority of "The Native Land Court Act, 1886," and its amendments, that the road described in the Schedule hereto was, in September, 1893, duly taken and laid off through the lands specified in the said Schedule, under the authority of the Governor of the said colony, by a warrant dated the 9th September, 1893.
SCHEDULE.
ROAD IN THE TAUROTAREI BLOCK.
ALL that parcel of land in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 3 roods 13.4 perches, more or less, situate in the Harataunga Survey District, being a road 100 links or more in width, traversing the Taukotarei Block No. 2626, the southern side of which commences at a point on the north-eastern boundary-line of the Taukotarei Block at a distance of 171.2 links from the Pahi Stream, and proceeds along lines bearing and measuring respectively as follow: 252° 2', 374 links; 299° 10', 316.8 links; 203° 51', 419.4 links; 260° 13', 458.8 links; 283° 28', 163.8 links (a total distance of 1732.8 links), to the south-western boundary-line of the aforesaid block: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked 6775, deposited in the District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland.

Notice of the Laying-off of a Road over Lands in the Auckland Land District.
NOTICE is hereby given, by direction of His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, under the authority of "The Native Land Court Act, 1886," and its amendments, that the road described in the Schedule hereto was, in September, 1893, duly taken and laid off through the lands specified in the said Schedule, under the authority of the Governor of the said colony, by a warrant dated the 8th August, 1893.
SCHEDULE.
ROAD IN TE AWAKANAE BLOCK.
ALL that parcel of land in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 2 roods 21.7 perches, more or less, situate in the Coromandel Survey District, and being portion of a road-line 100 links in width, traversing the Awakanae Block No. 3938, the north-eastern side of which commences at a point on the north-western boundary of the Awakanae Block at a distance of 33 links, or thereabouts, from its north-western angle, and proceeds along lines measuring and bearing respectively as follow: 450 links, 151° 11'; 711 links, 161° 23'; 356 links, 109° 29'; and 317.7 links, 140° 36', to the southern boundary of the said block: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked 6774 (No. 1), and deposited in the District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland.

Notice of the Laying-off of Roads over Lands in the Auckland Land District.
NOTICE is hereby given, by direction of His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, under the authority of "The Native Land Court Act, 1886," and its amendments, that the roads described in the Schedule hereto were, on the 25th June, 1893, duly taken and laid off through the lands specified in the said Schedule, under the authority of the Governor of the said colony, by a warrant dated the 17th January, 1893.
SCHEDULE.
ROADS IN THE OPANAKE NO. 1 AND OPANAKE NO. 2K BLOCKS.
ALL that parcel of land in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 roods 33 perches, more or less, situate in the Tutamoe Survey District, and being a road 100 links wide, traversing a portion of the Opanake No. 1 Block (No. 3046), the northern side of which commences at a point on the south-western boundary of the Opanake Railway-station site, at a distance of 603 links from its north-western angle, and proceeds on lines bearing as follow: 247° 51' for a distance of 898.6 links, 247° 5' 30" for a distance of 48 links, to the Kaihu River: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.
Also, all that parcel of land in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 roods 4 perches, more or less, situate in the Tutamoe Survey District, and being a road 100 links wide, traversing a portion of the Opanake No. 2k Block (No. 3046k), the northern side of which commences at a point on the right bank of the Kaihu River, being the continuation of the northern boundary of the road-line (containing 3 roods 33 perches) hereinbefore described, which traverses a portion of the Opanake No. 1 Block (No. 3046), and proceeds south-westerly for a distance of 882.7 links, on a bearing of 247° 5' 30", to its junction with another road: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked Survey Office 6792, deposited in the District Lands and Survey Office at Auckland.
