Notice of Intention to change the purpose of a ReseRve at
Koponga, Tarnaki.

GLASGOW, GOVERNOR.

WHEReAS by "The Public Reserves Act, 1881," it is
amOngst other things enaCted that the GoVernor
may declare his intention to make, change, exchange, or
alter the dedication of any public reseRve now or heReafter
veSted in Her MaJesty or the GoVernor for any of the pur
poses named in Class II. of the SChedule to the said Act,
whether the same be granted or not ; and in the case of any
reseRve made under the authority of section one hundred
and forty-Four of "The Land Act, 1877," if it shall, in the
opinion of the GoVernor, be expedit to change the purpose
of such reseRve or any part thereof from the purpose or
presumed purpose for which it was set apart to any other
purpose, or if it shall, in the opinion of the GoVernor, be
expedit to exchange any of the land comprised in such
reseRve for other land of equal value, to be dedicated to one
or more purposes named in the said Class II., the GoVernor
may, by notice gazetted, declare his intention to make such
change, exchange, or dedication, as the case may be, and in
such notice declare the manner and terms in which the same
is intended to be so made :

Now, therefore, I, David, earl of GlasgOW, the GoVernor
of the ColOny of New Zealanda, do heReby, in exercise and
pursuance of the powers and authorities veSted in me by
"The Public Reserves Act, 1881," aforesaid, declare my in
tention to change the specific purpose of the reseRve described
in the first column of the SChedule hereto from that named
in the said first column to that named in the second column
of the said SChedule respectively.

Defining Greymouth Pilatage District.

GLASGOW, GOVERNOR.

WHEReAS it is enaCted by seCtiOn 75 of "The Har
bours Act, 1878," that the GoVernor shall have power
from time to time to define and to alter and vary the limits
of pilatage districts within which pilots may act for the pur
poses of this Act; and the limits so defined shall be gazetted :
And wheReas it is expedit that the limits of a pilatage
district, to be called the "Greymouth Pilatage District,"
should be defined under the said Act as hereinafter men
tioned :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the GoVernor of the ColOny
of New Zealanda, in pursuance and exercise of the herein
before-recited power and authority, doth heReby define the
limits of the Greymouth Pilatage District to be all the
navigable wateRS comprised within a radius of three nautiCal
miles, reckon from the flagstaf at the signal-station
belonging to the Greymouth Harbour Board, situate at the
mouth of the GRey River; the said flagstaf being shown on
plan marked M.D. 1910, which is deposited in the office of
the MaRine Department, at Wellington.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the GoVernor,
this tWenty-nintth day of December, one thousand
eight hundred and nintey-thRee.

Thursday, the 1st day of February, 1894, at 2 o'clock in
the afternoon, to be the time, and the house of Mr. Frederick
