Lands taken for a Further Portion of the Greymouth-
Hokitika Railway, Kapitea Section.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is
required to be taken for a further portion of the Grey-
mouth-Hokitika Railway—namely, the Kapitea Section :
And whereas all conditions precedent required by law to
be observed and performed prior to the taking of such land
in the manner hereby provided have been observed and
performed :
Now, therefore, I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor
of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and
authorities conferred by section one hundred and thirty of
" The Public Works Act, 1882," and of every other power
and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, do
hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the
Schedule hereto is taken for the further portion of the said
line of railway hereinbefore specified.

parcels of land are more particularly delineated on the plans
marked P.W.D. 17092, deposited in the Office of the Minister
for Public Works, at Wellington, in the Provincial District
of Wellington, and thereon coloured red, brown, yellow,
and neutral tint.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right
Honourable David, Earl of Glasgow; Knight
Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of
Saint Michael and Saint George; Governor and
Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty's
Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies,
and Vice-Admiral of the same; and issued under
the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government
House, at Wellington, this thirteenth day of
December, in the year of our Lord one thousand
eight hundred and ninety-three.

Additional Land taken at Arakura for the Purposes of the
Greymouth-Hokitika Railway.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable, for the use,
convenience, and enjoyment of the Greymouth-
Hokitika Railway, to take further land at Arakura in addi-
tion to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said
railway :
Now, therefore, I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor
of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and
authorities conferred on me by "The Public Works Act,
1882," and of every other power and authority in anywise
enabling me in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is taken for
the purposes above mentioned.

Rural Lands in the Auckland Land District open for Sale or Selection.

GLASGOW, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one hundred and thirty-sixth section
of "The Land Act, 1892," I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, having received the
report of the Surveyor-General in this behalf, as in the said section is provided, do hereby declare that the rural
lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be open for sale or selection on and after the fourteenth day of
February, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-four; and also that the lands mentioned in the said Schedule may, at
the option of the applicant, be purchased for cash, or be selected for occupation with right of purchase or on lease
in perpetuity, or, in respect of any lands containing or supposed to contain any metal, mineral, or valuable stone, be
selected on lease in perpetuity only; and I do hereby also fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold, occupied, or
leased, as mentioned in the said Schedule hereto, and do declare that the said lands shall be sold, occupied, or leased
under and subject to the provisions of "The Land Act, 1892."
