NOTICE to NATIVE OWNERS and LESSEE of a
MEETING to be held at the COURTHOUSE,
OPUNAKE, at 11 o'clock a.m. on WEDNESDAY,
the 10th JANUARY, 1894, to fix the Rent for a
NEW LEASE to FRANCES CATHERINE HERLIHY,
of Section No. 5, Block X., Opunake, containing
in all 88 acres (more or less), being Land com-
prised in Memorandum of Lease registered
No. 1028.

TO Ihaka Ngakirikiri, Akinithi Himiona, Pikete
Eruini Kawakawa, Waiana Eruini Kawa-
kawa (Eruini Kawakawa, trustee), Matiu Whare-
matangi, Rangimoekai, Pau te Wahenga, Pohutu
(Mata Hineotinga and Rua Ngakau, trustees for
Rangimoekai, Pau te Wahenga, and Pohutu), Tu-
whakaroro, Wiremu Hohaia, Kuini Hohaia, Ori-
wia Hohaia, Parete Teira, Pipi Teira, Mere Teira,
Harata Tuwhakararo, Anihara Ruakau, Ngamiri-
raka Rawea, Marore Aitu, Marore, Ngamiraka,
Te Awhe Parai, Mohi Parai, Turia Warihi, Tare
Warihi, Te Mira Wharepore, Hame Iwitai, Haka-
raia Tangaiaka, Pakihore Eruini, Eruini Kawa-
kawa (Rangiteanau), Komenga Rona, Ruhe Ha-
kopa, Hona Rake, Te Kawai Rake, Ngeru Rake,
Taraikamu, Kahukaraiti, Te Ataao Kahukaraiti,
Ngamura Kahukaraiti, Mere te Rangikawarara,
Rongo Maroa, Ihaka te Manu (Rangiruru), Ihaka
te Rou, Erana te Rauna, Hoeta te Whakaruru,
and the other Native owners of all those pieces
of land situate in the Opunake Survey District,
being Section No. 5, Block X., and containing by
admeasurement in all 88 acres (more or less),
being the land comprised in memorandum of
lease registered No. 1028, to Frances Catherine
Herlihy, of Opunake, settler, as lessee:

Whereas the above-named Frances Catherine
Herlihy has given notice to me, under the provi-
sions of section 8 of "The West Coast Settlement
Reserves Act, 1892," that she desires to obtain
under that section a new lease of the land above
described; and I consider her application ought
to be given effect to: Now, therefore, I do hereby
appoint a meeting to take place between the
said Frances Catherine Herlihy and all the Native
owners of the above-described land, for the pur-
pose of fixing the rent to be paid for the said
land for the first twenty-one years of the new
lease; and I fix the Courthouse, Opunake, as the
place where, and Wednesday, the 10th January,
1894, at 11 o'clock in the forenoon, as the time
when, such meeting shall take place.

MANAIA, at 9 o'clock a.m. on MONDAY, the
8th JANUARY, 1894, to fix the Rent for a NEW
LEASE to LEWIS JAMES WILLIAMS of Section
46, Block XIV., KAUPORONUI, containing 93
acres (more or less), being Land comprised in
Memorandum of Lease registered No. 534.

TO Ngatai Rakaunui, Nganeko, Te Tutu,
Kina, Ngatauerua, Te Arapo, Te Puni, Puhi
Rawiri, Tuku, Te Hinganga, Rangipahi, Kura,
Manai'a, junior, Ruka Kato, Harry Patukopa,
Ngamiraka, Hinekura, Ngonepu, Toru, Rongo-
toa, Tawhirangi, Ngakakau, Te Hi, Ngataioma,
Te Rangi, Tumuia, Ngangaha, Mahea, Tahere,
Te Hore, Pire, Kuraroa, Te Ra, Rangihawe, Ro-
go, Karewa, Hori, Rahira, Mateawatea, Te Wae,
Wahangahi, Ngatai Himiona, Uruhapu, Waka-
neke, Te Awa, Waikauri, Otakou, Te Noti, Ta-
hunaroa, Matakuatea, Te Manu Irirangi, Tairu,
Tutai, Pukia, Moetawa, Wharepuehu, Hinenia,
Waikiao, Te Kehu, Te Waipounamu, Taiwawe,
Tuaiwa, Ngawira, Tumupo, Hineporutu, Tauru,
Ihakara te Tata, Kepa Huti, Tawhiri, Karira,
Heta, and the other Native owners of all that
piece of land situate in the Kaupokonui Survey
District, being Section No. 46, Block XIV., and
containing by admeasurement 93 acres (more or
less), being the land comprised in the memo-
randum of lease registered No. 534, to Lewis
James Williams, of Manaia, farmer, transferee.

Whereas the above-named Lewis James Wil-
liams has given notice to me, under the provisions
of section 8 of "The West Coast Settlement Re-
serves Act, 1892," that he desires to obtain under
that section a new lease of the land above de-
scribed; and I consider his application ought to
be given effect to: Now, therefore, I do hereby
appoint a meeting to take place between the said
Lewis James Williams and all the Native owners
of the above-described land, for the purpose of
fixing the rent to be paid for the said land for
the first twenty-one years of the new lease, and I
fix the Courthouse, Manaia, as the place where,
and Monday, the 8th day of January, 1894, at 9
o'clock in the forenoon, as the time when, such
meeting shall take place.

ment 502 acres 2 roods (more or less), being
the land comprised in memorandums of lease
registered Nos. 667, 668, and 1031, to William
James Wells, of Puniho, farmer, assignee.

Whereas the above-named William James
Wells has given notice to me under the pro-
visions of section 8 of "The West Coast Settle-
ment Reserves Act, 1892," that he desires to ob-
tain under that section a new lease of the land
above described; and I consider his application
ought to be given effect to: Now, therefore, I do
hereby appoint a meeting to take place between
the said William James Wells and all the Native
owners of the above-described land, for the pur-
pose of fixing the rent to be paid for the said
land for the first twenty-one years of the new
lease; and I fix the house of Ruhira Porikapa, at
Stony River, as the place where, and Friday, the
12th day of January, 1894, at 2 o'clock in the
afternoon, as the time when, such meeting shall
take place.

perches (more or less), being the land comprised
in memorandum of lease registered No. 580, to
William Arthur Blennerhassett, of Otakeho,
farm er, as lessee.

Whereas the above-named William Arthur
Blennerhassett has given notice to me, under the
provisions of section 8 of "The West Coast Settle-
ment Reserves Act, 1892," that he desires to obtain
under that section a new lease of the land above
described; and I consider his application ought
to be given effect to: Now, therefore, I do hereby
appoint a meeting to take place between the said
William Arthur Blennerhassett and all the Native
owners of the above-described land, for the pur-
pose of fixing the rent to be paid for the said
land for the first twenty-one years of the new
lease; and I fix the Courthouse, Manaia, as the
place where, and Monday, the 8th January, 1894,
at 11 o'clock in the forenoon, as the time when,
such meeting shall take place.
