GLASGOW, Governor,
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the forty-fifth section of "The Cemeteries Act, 1882," I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the local authority specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto to have the control and management of the public cemetery specified in the second column of the said Schedule.

The Otahuhu Road Board. OTAHUHU. All that parcel of land in the Land District of Auckland, containing 7 acres 3 roods 18 perches, more or less, situated in the Parish of Manurewa, in the County of Eden, being Allotments Nos. 43 and 44 of small lots near the Village of Otahuhu. Bounded towards the north by a road, 830 links, and by high-water mark of the Otahuhu Creek; towards the north-east by a road, 755 links; towards the south-east by a road, 800 links; and towards the south-west by a road, 1,230 links.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this thirtieth day of November, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-three.

Rural Lands in the Southland Land District open for Sale or Selection.
GLASGOW, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one hundred and thirty-sixth section of "The Land Act, 1892," I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, having received the report of the Surveyor-General in this behalf, as in the said section is provided, do hereby declare that the rural lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be open for sale or selection on and after the thirty-first day of January, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-four; and also that the lands mentioned in the said Schedule may, at the option of the applicant, be purchased for cash, or be selected for occupation with right of purchase or on lease in perpetuity, or, in respect of any lands containing or supposed to contain any metal, mineral, or valuable stone, be selected on lease in perpetuity only; and I do hereby also fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold, occupied, or leased, as mentioned in the said Schedule hereto, and do declare that the said lands shall be sold, occupied, or leased under and subject to the provisions of "The Land Act, 1892."

This section will be burdened with £6 12s. 6d., being half the value of boundary-fence. Section 14, undulating forest country comprising kamai, rimu, matai, &c., of no commercial value; about 240 acres flat land; well watered; height above sea-level from 150ft. to 400ft.; distance from Fortrose about ten miles.
