A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the one hundred and seventy-second section of “The Land Act, 1892,” and of every other power and authority enabling me in that behalf, I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto shall be subject to the provisions of sections one hundred and seventy-two to one hundred and eighty-six of Part V. of “The Land Act, 1892,” relating to small grazing-runs.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable David, Earl of Glasgow; Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George; Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-second day of November, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety-three.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been acquired under the provisions of “The Land for Settlements Act, 1892” (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), and the purchase thereof has been concluded as by the said Act is provided: And whereas it is enacted by the said Act that all land so acquired shall be proclaimed as Crown land subject to the provisions of the said Act:
Now, therefore, I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the power and authority conferred by the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, on the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, be and be deemed to be Crown land subject to the provisions of “The Land for Settlements Act, 1892.”
SCHEDULE.
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.
FIVE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY-FOUR ACRES one rood and five perches, more or less, being parts of rural sections numbered 12378, 11585, 12379, 15887, 17866, 20460, and the whole of Section 15888, Blocks I. and II., on the map of the Waitaki Survey District. Bounded towards the northward by a road-line forming the southern boundary of section numbered 9678; towards the eastward by a road-line and sections numbered 19344 and 28771; towards the southward by a road forming the northern boundary of section numbered 29479; and towards the westward by a line through sections numbered 20460 and 17866, a road-line through the last-mentioned section, and by a road-line through section numbered 15887: save and except a road 100 links wide, and a reserve for a railway, which intersect the area hereby described.
