PURSUANT to the provisions of an Act of the General
Assembly of New Zealand, passed in the forty-fourth
year of the reign of Her Majesty Queen Victoria, and in-
tituled "The Marriage Act, 1880," the following name of
an Officiating Minister within the meaning of the said Act is
published for general information:—

Notice by Public Trustee under "The Unclaimed Lands
Act, 1892."
In the matter of a parcel of land, containing by admeasure-
ment 50 acres (more or less), being Section 79, Parish of
Puníu, abutting on the Puníu River, in the Provincial
District of Auckland, of which the grantee and last known
owner was Thomas Brennan, whose whereabouts is un-
known.
WHEREAS the Public Trustee has been made aware of
the above-described land having no known owner,
and he, having made reasonable inquiry, can discover neither
the owner nor any agent for the said land, nor any objection
to the said land being declared subject to the above-named
Act:
Now, this is to give notice to all whom it may concern
that, unless on or before the 30th day of June, 1894, the
owner of the above-described land establishes his title thereto
to the satisfaction of the Supreme Court or any Judge of such
Court, the Public Trustee will take the steps prescribed by
"The Land Transfer Act, 1885," to be registered as the
owner of such land.

Notice by Public Trustee under "The Unclaimed Lands
Act, 1892."
In the matter of a parcel of land being Lot 1 of Allotments
1 and 2 of Section 44, in the City of Auckland, having a
frontage of 25 feet to Union Street, by a depth of 81 feet
9 inches, of which the last known owner was James
McIlheany, of Auckland, labourer, of whom nothing is now
known.
WHEREAS the Public Trustee has been made aware of
the above-described land having no known owner,
and he, having made reasonable inquiry, can discover neither
the owner nor any agent for the said land, nor any objection
to the said land being declared subject to the above-named
Act:
Now, this is to give notice to all whom it may concern
that, unless on or before the 30th day of June, 1894, the
owner of the above-described land establishes his title thereto
to the satisfaction of the Supreme Court or any Judge of
such Court, the Public Trustee will take the steps prescribed

or less), and being Allotment 76, Parish of Paremoro, in
the Province of Auckland, and also a parcel of land con-
taining 77 acres 2 roods (more or less), and being part of
Allotment 28 in the said Parish of Paremoro, of which
lands the last known owner was Michael Mahoney or
Mahony, who has not been heard of or from for about
thirty years.
WHEREAS the Public Trustee has been made aware of
the above-described land having no known owner,
and he, having made reasonable inquiry, can discover neither
the owner nor any agent for the said land, nor any objection
to the said land being declared subject to the above-named
Act:
Now, this is to give notice to all whom it may concern
that, unless on or before the 30th day of June, 1894, the
owner of the above-described land establishes his title thereto
to the satisfaction of the Supreme Court or any Judge of
such Court, the Public Trustee will take the steps pre-
scribed by "The Land Transfer Act, 1885," to be registered
as the owner of such land.

Mana Island Reserve, Wellington Land District, for Lease
by Public Auction.
District Land and Survey Office,
Wellington, 14th October, 1893.
IT is hereby notified, in terms of "The Public Reserves
Act, 1881," that the lease of the under-mentioned land
in Mana Island will be offered at public auction, at this
office, on Monday, 27th November, 1893, at 3 p.m.
The plan and form of lease can be seen, and particulars
obtained, at this office.
The term of the lease will be fourteen years.
No allowance whatever shall be payable on account of any
improvements that may be effected by the lessee.
A deposit of a half-year's rent, and £1 1s. lease-fee, must
be made on the fall of the hammer.

This island is situated about five miles from Porirua Har-
bour in a south-westerly direction, and has a good landing-
place on it for boats, which form the only means of access
at present from the mainland. It contains, exclusive of a
10-acre landing-place reserve, an area of 525 acres, consisting
chiefly of table-lands and spurs, covered with English and
native grass-pasture, and is divided into two paddocks. The
present carrying-capacity of the island is about 900 sheep.
The improvements consist of a small shearing-paddock,
woolshed, yards, dip, and a three-roomed cottage.

temperature of dew-point, 47°·3.; mean humidity, 79.
