Notice of Acceptance of Complete Specifications.

Wellington, 19th January, 1893.

COMPLETE specifications relating to the under-mentioned applications for Letters Patent have been accepted, and are open to public inspection at this office. Any person may, at any time within two months from the date of this Gazette, give me notice in writing, in duplicate, of opposition to the grant of any such patent, stating in such notice the particular grounds of his objection. A fee of 10s. is payable with such notice:—

No. 5533.—29th April, 1892.—HENRY RAYNER, of Christchurch, New Zealand, Bootmaker. An invention for improved protectors for the soles of boots and shoes. (Specification, 3s. 6d.; drawings, 3s.)

No. 5889.—14th November, 1892.—HENRY HOWORTH, of Wellington, New Zealand, Solicitor (Nominee of John Orson Oldfield McArdell, of Melbourne, Victoria, Gentleman). An invention for improvements in the manufacture of an explosive compound, and the method of applying same in practical use. (Specification, 7s. 6d.)

No. 5986.—5th January, 1893.—AUGUST SCHEIDEL, Ph.D., Metallurgical and Technological Chemist, of Auckland, New Zealand. An invention for the extraction of gold and silver or either of them from ores or other materials by means of a machine called “Centrifugal Agitator and Separator,” and for the separation of solutions containing gold or silver, or either of them, from ores or other materials by the same means.
