NOTICE is hereby given that the several parcels of land hereinafter described will be brought under the provisions of “The Land Transfer Act, 1885,” unless caveat be lodged forbidding the same on or before the 22nd July, 1893.
MOSS DAVIS.—Lots 3 and 26, and parts of Lots 4 and 25, Section 7, of the subdivision of part of Allotment 1, Parish of Whangarei, containing 1 rood 20 perches, and Lots 12 and 13 of the subdivision of a piece of land in the Parish of Waikomiti, granted to John Russell by Crown grant, registered in the Deeds Registry Office, Auckland, as No. 20719, containing 6 acres and 19 perches. All in the occupation of tenants. 3038.

CANTERBURY DISTRICT.
In the matter of “The Companies Act, 1882,” and the amendments thereof; and in the matter of the Waimea Creek Gold-dredging Company (Limited).
THE creditors of the above-named company are required, on or before the 1st day of August next, to send their names and addresses and the particulars of their debts or claims, and the names and addresses of their solicitors (if any), to JOHN LARKING SCARVELL, of Christchurch, Accountant, the Official Liquidator of the said company; and, if so required by notice in writing from the said Official Liquidator, are by their solicitors to come in and prove their said debts or claims at the Registrar’s Office, in the Supreme Court House, at Christchurch, at such time as shall be specified in such notice, or in default thereof they will be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts are proved.
Thursday, the 17th day of August, 1893, at 11 o’clock in the forenoon, at the Registrar’s said office, is appointed for hearing and adjudicating upon the debts and claims.

THE SUTRO GOLD- AND SILVER-MINING COMPANY (LIMITED), IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of section 202 of “The Companies Act, 1882,” that a general meeting of the members of the above company will be held at my office, No. 2, Insurance Buildings, Queen Street, Auckland, on Friday, the 25th day of August, 1893, at 2 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of having an account laid before them showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company has been disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liquidator, and also of determining by extraordinary resolution the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company and of the Liquidator thereof shall be disposed of.

GERALDINE COUNTY COUNCIL.—SPECIAL ORDER.
AT a meeting of the Council of the County of Geraldine, held at the Council’s Office, Timaru, on Thursday, the 13th day of April, 1893, at 11 a.m., the following resolutions were passed:—
- That, a petition having been presented to this Council in accordance with the provisions of “The Counties Act, 1886,” praying that all that portion of the said County of Geraldine, situate in the Geraldine Road Board District, the boundaries whereof are described in the said petition might be constituted a water-race district for the purpose of the construction of water-races therein, and the necessary plans of the said proposed district having been duly deposited for public inspection, and public notice thereof having been duly given, as required by the said Act and “The Water-supply Act, 1891,” this Council doth hereby declare to be a water-race district under “The Water-supply Act, 1891,” for the purpose of the construction of water-races within, all that portion of the said Geraldine County, situate in the Geraldine Road Board District, and bounded as follows:—
