"THE WEST COAST SETTLEMENT RESERVES ACT, 1892."
NOTICE to NATIVE OWNERS and LESSEE of a MEETING to be held at the COURTHOUSE, WAITARA, at 4 o’clock p.m. on FRIDAY, the 14th JULY, 1893, to fix the Rent for a NEW LEASE to FANNY BEALES WRAY of Section No. 44, Block VI., WAITARA, containing 98 acres and 3 roods (more or less), being Land comprised in Memorandum of Lease registered No. 747.
TO Perere Nikorima, Kereopa Tamaitua (Te Wahana), Matiaha Kapu, Te Harawira Mokena, Ruihi Hakaraia, Hoponaia, Watene Taungatara, Hamarama, Huriāna te Kati, Wi Roera, Wi Tauhei, Hotu Tana, Erina Arapere, Hera Wirihana (Ngamoko), Erina (Teau), Roera te Kati, Mere te Kahukore, Hakaraia Ngatiki, Henare Punaruku, and the other Native owners of all that piece of land situate in the Waitara Survey District, being Section 44, Block VI., containing by admeasurement 98 acres and 3 roods (more or less), being the land comprised in memorandum of lease, registered No. 747, to Fanny Beales Wray, of Waihi, as transferee.
Whereas the above-named Fanny Beales Wray has given notice to me, under the provisions of section 8 of “The West Coast Settlement Reserves Act, 1892,” that she desires to obtain under that section a new lease of the land above described; and I consider her application ought to be given effect to: Now, therefore, I do hereby appoint a meeting to take place between the said Fanny Beales Wray and all the Native owners of the above-described land, for the purpose of fixing the rent to be paid for the said land for the first twenty-one years of the new lease; and I fix the Courthouse, Waitara, as the place where, and Friday, the 14th day of July, 1893, at 4 o’clock in the afternoon, as the time when, such meeting shall take place.

Whereas the above-named John Chubbin has given notice to me, under the provisions of section 8 of “The West Coast Settlement Reserves Act, 1892,” that he desires to obtain under that section a new lease of the land above described; and I consider his application ought to be given effect to: Now, therefore, I do hereby appoint a meeting to take place between the said John Chubbin and all the Native owners of the above-described land, for the purpose of fixing the rent to be paid for the said land for the first twenty-one years of the new lease, and I fix the Courthouse, Hawera, as the place where, and Saturday, the 8th day of July, 1893, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, as the time when, such meeting shall take place.
