Notice of the Laying-off of a Road over Land in the
Auckland Land District.

NOTICE is hereby given, by direction of His Excellency
the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, under
the authority of "The Native Land Court Act, 1886," that
the road described in the Schedule hereto has been duly
taken and laid off through the land specified in the said
Schedule, under the authority of the Governor of the said
colony, by a warrant dated the 21st October, 1891.

SCHEDULE.

ALL those parcels of land in the Auckland Land District,
situated in the Thames Survey District, and described as
follows:—

All that parcel of land containing by admeasurement
1 acre 2 roods 4 perches, more or less, being a road of
irregular width, the north-western side of which commences
on the north-eastern boundary of the Tapangahoro Block, at
a point 30·4 links, more or less, distant from the northern-
most corner of the aforesaid block; and proceeds in a south-
westerly direction through the said block for a distance of
1923·7 links, more or less, to the southernmost corner of the
said block: as the same is delineated upon Plan No.
6496 (in blue), deposited in the District Land and Survey
Office, Auckland, and thereon coloured green.

All that parcel of land containing by admeasurement
15 acres 1 rood 26 perches, more or less, being a road
100 links wide and upwards, the north-western side of
which commences on the south-western boundary of
Taparahi No. 3c Block, at a point 281 links, more or less,
distant from the Kirikiri Stream, and proceeds in a north-
easterly direction through the said block for a distance of
13980 links, more or less, to the Kirikiri Stream, which
forms the eastern boundary of the aforesaid Taparahi No. 3c
Block: as the same is delineated upon Plans Nos. 6496b
and 6496c (in blue), deposited in the District Land and
Survey Office, Auckland, and thereon coloured pink and
green.

Date of Governor's warrant, 21st October, 1891.

Special Order made by the Waimata Road Board, Cook
County.

Wellington, 5th June, 1893.

THE following special order, made by the Waimata
Road Board, is published in accordance with the pro-
visions of "The Road Boards Act, 1882."

SPECIAL ORDER passed by the Waimata Road Board and
confirmed at a Meeting held on the 1st day of April,
1893.

RESOLVED, That a special rate of 3d. in the pound be made
on all rateable property within the Waimata-Ngakoroa
Special Rating District. The said rate shall be for a period
of twenty-six years, commencing on the 1st day of July,
1893, and ending 30th June, 1919, and shall be set apart for
the purpose of providing interest upon a sum of £200, to be
obtained in terms of "The Government Loans to Local
Bodies Act, 1886," to carry out the particular public works
set forth in the proposal agreed to by the ratepayers of the
said special district and carried at a poll taken on the 25th
day of February, 1893. The rate so struck shall be a recur-
ring rate, due and payable in two equal instalments on the
1st day of July and January in each year.

I hereby certify that the above special order was duly
passed at a meeting of the Waimata Road Board held on
1st April, 1893.

Special Order made by the Eketahuna Road Board,
County of Wairarapa North.

THE following special order, made by the Eketahuna
Road Board, is published in accordance with the pro-
visions of "The Road Boards Act, 1882."

SPECIAL ORDER made by the Eketahuna Road Board,
County of Wairarapa North.

THAT for the purpose of securing payment for the sum of
£600, borrowed by the Board under "The Government Loans
to Local Bodies Act, 1886," for building a bridge over the
Makakahi River, at the Central Mangaone Road, a special
rate of 1½d. in the pound be made and levied on the rateable
value for the time being of the following properties: Sections
8, 8A, 9, 14A, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 30, 31, Block II.; Sections
1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14, 17, 51, 52, Block VI., all in
the Mangaone Survey District. Such rate shall be an
annually-recurring rate, and shall be paid in two half-yearly
instalments for twenty-six years, on the first day of February
and the first day of August in each year, until the debt is
liquidated.

I hereby certify that the above special order has been duly
made.
