Boundaries of the Kaukatea Road Board.

The boundary commences at the north-west corner of Sec-
tion No. 73, Block II., Ikitara Survey District; and proceeds
thence in a north-easterly direction along the northern
boundary of said section and of Sections Nos. 111 and 272,
same block, of Sections Nos. 206, 205, and 369, Block III.,
the north-western and northern boundary of Section No. 370
and of Section No. 371, the western and northern boundary-
lines of Section No. 333, and the northern boundary of Sections
Nos. 332, 331, and 329, Block IV., the northern boundary of
Section No. 304, Block I., Wangaehu Survey District, part of
the western and the northern boundary of Section No. 312,
Block XIII., Mangawhero Survey District, and Block I.,
Wangaehu Survey District, to the Wangaehu River; thence
towards the east by the centre of said river to a point oppo-
site the north-eastern boundary of Section No. 217; thence
towards the south-east by the north-eastern boundary of the
last-named section, the eastern and southern boundaries of
Section No. 301, Block I., Wangaehu Survey District, the
southern boundary of Section No. 298, part of the eastern
boundary of Section No. 297, the eastern boundary of Sec-
tions Nos. 252 and 236, the southern boundary of the last-
named section, Block IV., Ikitara Survey District, part of
the south-eastern boundary of Section No. 237, and the
south-eastern boundary of Sections Nos. 319, 318, 317, and
316, Block VIII., same survey district; thence towards the
south by the southern boundary of Sections Nos. 316 and
315, same block, by the southern boundary of Sections Nos.
270, 126A, and 59A, Block VII., and by the southern boundary
of Sections Nos. 112 and 74, Block VI., same survey dis-
trict; and thence towards the west by the western boundary
of the last-named section, and by the western boundary of
Section No. 73, Block II., Ikitara Survey District.

Boundaries of the Purua Road District.

Bounded towards the north by lines so as to include
Sections Nos. 43, 44, 45, 46, and 47, Block V., Ikitara Survey
District, and Sections Nos. 48, 49, 50, 51, and 52, Block VI.,
same survey district, and by the southern boundary of the
proposed Kaukatea Road District, already described; towards
the west by the Wangaehu River to the north-east corner of
the Kaitoke Road District; towards the south-west by the
north-eastern boundary of the Kaitoke Road District, already
described; and towards the west by the Wanganui River to
the starting-point.

RESULT OF POLL.—LOAN NO. 30.

THE following is the result of a poll taken on the 3rd Decem-
ber, 1892, on a proposal to raise a loan of £900, under the
provisions of "The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act,
1886," for the purpose of forming, culverting, bridging, and
metalling the Woodville-Aohanga Road from the junction
with the Makuri Valley Road up to the junction with the
Ngaturi-Aohanga Road:—

Number of ratepayers on roll 11, representing 12 votes;
number of ratepayers who voted in favour 7, representing
8 votes; votes not recorded, 4.

A majority of ratepayers, exercising more than one-half of
the total number of votes, being in favour of the proposal,
I declare the said proposal carried.

RESULT OF POLL.—LOAN NO. 32.

THE following is the result of a poll taken on the 17th
December, 1892, on a proposal to raise a loan of £200, under
the provisions of "The Government Loans to Local Bodies
Act, 1886," for forming, metalling, and bridging the Pah
Valley Road, in conjunction with the Alfredton Road
Board:—

Number of ratepayers on roll 3, representing 3 votes;
number of ratepayers who voted in favour, 2; votes not
recorded, 1.

A majority of ratepayers, exercising more than one-half of
the total number of votes, being in favour of the proposal, I
declare the said loan proposal carried.

WAIROA COUNTY.

THE following is the result of the poll of ratepayers of the
Clyde and Mohaka Special Rating District, taken on the
30th day of December, 1892, on the proposal (1) to erect a
bridge over the Mohaka River on the Napier-Wairoa Road,
to form and metal the road between Clyde and Mohaka, and
to form and metal a portion of the Rotokakarangu Road;
(2) to borrow a sum of £8,000 for these purposes; and (3)
to make a special rate of 1½d. in the pound over the special
rating district:—

Number of ratepayers on special roll 207, exercising 358
votes; number who voted for the proposal 25, exercising 42
votes; number who voted against the proposal 1, exercising
5 votes.

I therefore declare the proposal rejected.

RESULT of poll for proposed loan of £3,000 for completion of
the Main County Road from the northern boundary of
Thakara's Reserve to the boundary of the Fitzherbert Road
Board District, Wirokino Special District North:—

Number of voters on special roll, 202; number of votes
exercisable on special roll, 236; number of voters who voted
in favour, 33; number of votes exercised in favour, 58;
number of votes against, 1.

As the voters who voted in favour of the above loan are
less than the majority required, I hereby declare the proposal
rejected.

RESULT of proposed loan for completion of the Main County
Road from the northern boundary of Thakara's Reserve south-
wards, including erection of cart-traffic bridge over Ohau

Number of voters on special roll, 197; number of votes
exercisable on special roll, 262; number of voters who voted
in favour, 74; number of votes exercised in favour, 102.

As the voters who voted in favour of the above loan are
less than the majority required, I hereby declare the proposal
rejected.

proposal to borrow £500, under "The Government Loans to
Local Bodies Act, 1886," to macadamise—(a) the Cardiff
Road from the Opunake Road to southern boundary of
Section 54, Block I., Ngaiere; (b) the Waingongoro Road
from the Cardiff Road to western boundary of Section 17,
Block IV., Kaupokonui:—

Total number of ratepayers on special roll, 21; total number
of votes exercisable, 23; number of ratepayers voting in
favour of proposal, 15; number of votes recorded in favour of
proposal, 17; number of ratepayers voting against proposal,
nil.

I declare the proposal to be carried.
