State Forests Act, 1885," to appoint

The CHAIRMAN of the STRATFORD COUNTY COUNCIL,
EDWIN GILL ALLSWORTH,
CHARLES STUART CURTIS,
JAMES GORRIE, and
THOMAS HARRY PENN

to be Conservators of State Forests, and to have the manage-
ment of that portion of the Mount Egmont State Forest,
known as the East Egmont State Forest, bounded as follows:
Towards the north-west by the Waiongona River from its
source to where the boundary-line of the Mount Egmont
Forest Reserve is intersected by the said Waiongona River;
towards the north-east and east generally by the north-
eastern and eastern boundary-line of the Mount Egmont
Forest Reserve; towards the south-west by the Waingongoro
River to its source, and by a right line thence to the summit
of Mount Egmont; and again towards the north-west by a
right line thence to the source of the Waiongona River first
mentioned.

SPECIAL ORDER.

THE following special order was passed by a meeting of the
Patea West Road Board, held on the 4th November, 1892,
and confirmed at a meeting held on the 16th December,
1892:—

That a special rate of ½d. in the pound sterling be hereby
made over the whole of the rateable value of the rateable
property (Crown and Native lands excepted) within the Alton
Special Rating District, for the purpose of providing interest
and sinking fund on a loan of £1,000, to be borrowed under
"The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886;" such
rate to be annually recurring for twenty-six years, and to be
payable on the 1st day of September in each year.

visions of "The Road Boards Act, 1882."

and the Waiareka Road District merged in Waitaki County
on and after the 31st December, 1892.

Council on the 23rd November, 1892, and confirmed on the
22nd December, 1892.
