RESERVES ACT, 1892."
NOTICE TO NATIVE OWNERS AND LESSEE of a
MEETING to be held at the COURTHOUSE,
MANAWA, at 10 o'clock a.m. on FRIDAY, the
2nd JUNE, 1893, to fix the Rent for a NEW LEASE
to DONALD CLARK of Section 34, Block II., WAI-
MATE, containing 188 acres (more or less), being
Land comprised in Memorandum of Lease re-
registered No. 567.
TO Manai'a Hukanui, Ngatai Rakaunui, Nga-
neko, Te Tutu, Kina, Ngatauerua, Te Arapo,
Te Puhi, Puhi Rawiri, Tuku, Te Hinganga, Rangi-
pahi, Kura, Manai'a tamaiti, Ruka Kato, Harry
Patukopa, Ngamiraka, Hinekura, Ngonupu, Toru,
Rongotoa, Tawhirangi, Ngakakau, Te Hi, Nga-
taioina, Te Rangi, Tumua, Ngangaha, Mahea, Ta-
there, Te Hore, Pire, Kuraroa, Te Ra, Rangihawe,
Rongo, Karewa, Hori, Rahira, Mateawatea, Te
Wae, Wahangahi, Ngatai Himiona, Uruhapu, Wa-
kameke, Te Awa, Waikauri, Otakou, Te Noti, Ta-
hunarao, Matakuatea, Te Manu Irirangi, Tairu,
Tutai, Pukia, Moetawa, Wharepuehu, Hinenua,
Waikiao, Te Kehu, Te Waipounamu, Taiwawe,
Tuaiwa, Ngawira, Tumupo, Hineporutu, Tauru,
Tahaka te Tata, Kepa Huti, Tawhiri, Karira
Heta, and the other Native owners of all that
piece of land situate in the Waimate Survey
District, being Section No. 34, Block II., and
containing by admeasurement 188 acres (more
or less), being the land comprised in the memo-
randum of lease, registered No. 567, to Donald
Clark, of Manai'a, farmer, lessee:
Whereas the above-named Donald Clark
has given notice to me, under the provisions
of section 8 of "The West Coast Settlement Re-
serves Act, 1892," that he desires to obtain under
that section a new lease of the land above de-
scribed; and I consider his application ought to
be given effect to: Now, therefore, I do hereby
appoint a meeting to take place between the
said Donald Clark and all the Native owners
of the above-described land, for the purpose of
fixing the rent to be paid for the said land for
the first twenty-one years of the new lease, and I
fix the Courthouse, Manai'a, as the place where,
and Friday, the 2nd day of June, 1893, at 10
o'clock in the forenoon, as the time, when such
meeting shall take place.

NOTICE TO NATIVE OWNERS AND LESSEE of a
MEETING to be held at the COURTHOUSE,
HAWERA, at 4 o'clock p.m. on MONDAY, the
5th JUNE, 1893, to fix the Rent for a NEW LEASE
to FELIX HUNGER, of Section 23, Block II.,
HAWERA, containing 23 acres (more or less),
being Land comprised in Memorandum of
Lease registered No. 428.
TO Kuru, Taniwha, Te Aio, and the other
Native Owners of all that piece of land
situate in the Hawera Survey District, being
Section 23, Block II., and containing by ad-
measurement 23 acres (more or less), being the
land comprised in memorandum of lease regis-
tered No. 428, to Felix Hunger, of Normanby,
farmers as lessee:
Whereas the above-named Felix Hunger has
given notice to me under the provisions of sec-
tion 8 of "The West Coast Settlement Reserves
Act, 1892," that he desires to obtain under that
section a new lease of the land above described;
and I consider his application ought to be given
effect to. Now, therefore, I do hereby appoint
a meeting to take place between the said Felix
Hunger and all the Native owners of the above
described land, for the purpose of fixing the
rent to be paid for the said land for the first
twenty-one years of the new lease, and I fix
the Courthouse, Hawera, as the place where, and
Monday, the 5th day of June, 1893, at 4 o'clock
in the afternoon, as the time, when such meeting
shall take place.

FREDERICK AUGUSTUS KELLING of Section No.
33, Block VII., WAIMATE, containing 46 acres
(more or less), being Land comprised in Memo-
randum of Lease registered No. 566.
TO Manai'a Hukanui, and the other Native
owners of all that piece of land situate in
the Waimate Survey District, being Section No.
33, Block VII., and containing by admeasurement
46 acres (more or less), being land comprised in
memorandum of lease, registered No. 566, to
Frederick Augustus Kelling, Manai'a, settler, as
transferee:
Whereas the above-named Frederick Augustus
Kelling has given notice to me, under the pro-
visions of section 8 of "The West Coast Settle-
ment Reserves Act, 1892," that he desires to
obtain under that section a new lease of the land
above described; and I consider his application
ought to be given effect to: Now, therefore, I do
hereby appoint a meeting to take place between
the said Frederick Augustus Kelling and all the
Native owners of the above-described land, for
the purpose of fixing the rent to be paid for the
said land for the first twenty-one years of the
new lease; and I fix the Courthouse, Manai'a, as

Whereas the above-named William Morshead
Symons has given notice to me, under the pro-
visions of section 8 of "The West Coast Settle-
ment Reserves Act, 1892," that he desires to obtain
under that section a new lease of the land above
described; and I consider his application ought to
be given effect to: Now, therefore, I do hereby
appoint a meeting to take place between the said
William Morshead Symons and all the Native
owners of the above-described land, for the pur-
pose of fixing the rent to be paid for the said land
for the first twenty-one years of the new lease;
