Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by “The Native Land Court Act, 1886,” and “The Native Land Court Act Amendment Act, 1889” (hereinafter termed “the said Acts”), and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order and declare that the following questions shall be and the same are hereby brought within the jurisdiction of the Native Land Court established under the said Acts, that is to say:—
- Who are the persons who would, but for the issue of the said memorial of ownership for the whole block called Okirae, containing three thousand two hundred and fifty acres, and the subsequent dealings therewith, now be entitled according to Native custom to the said piece of land known as Te Kiato, containing one hundred and twenty-five acres, more or less, if the same were now Native land the title to which was unascertained, and was the subject of an application to the said Native Land Court for investigation of the title thereto?
- In what proportionate shares would such persons in such case be respectively entitled in the said piece of land?
And it is hereby further ordered and declared that this order shall take effect as from the first day of May, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-three.

Altered Regulations for the Management and Administration of Funds and Moneys under Section 69 of “The Coal-mines Act, 1891.”

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this tenth day of April, 1893.

THE HONOURABLE W. P. REEVES PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section sixty-six of “The Coal-mines Act, 1891” (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is provided, inter alia, that the Governor may from time to time, by Order in Council, make, alter, and revoke regulations for regulating the management and administration of the funds and moneys mentioned or referred to in section sixty-nine of the said Act: And whereas it appears expedient to alter the regulations made by Order in Council on the twenty-ninth day of October, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-two:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby make the alterations in the regulations made on the twenty-ninth day of October, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-two, aforesaid, as hereinafter set forth, that is to say,—
In regulation 5 (a), by omitting the words “after the expiration of the first week,” and by inserting, after the words “medical officer,” the words “and the trustees”; also by inserting the following words at the end of the regulation: “Provided that no workman shall be entitled to any payment unless he shall have been so disabled by accident as to prevent him working for a period of not less than one week or more.”
In regulation 11 (a), by omitting the words “after the expiration of the first week,” and by inserting the following words at the end of the regulation: “Provided that no workman shall be entitled to any payment unless he shall have been so disabled by accident as to prevent him working for a period of not less than one week or more.”
And, with the like advice and consent, doth hereby declare that such altered regulations shall come into force on the day of the publication thereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

Special District under “The Auctioneers Act, 1891.”

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this tenth day of April, 1893.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority contained in the eighth section of “The Auctioneers Act, 1891,” His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby declare that the County of Raglan (being a part of the colony which is sparsely populated) shall be a special district for the purposes of the said Act, and shall be known by the name of the Raglan District; and it is hereby declared that the amount of the auctioneer’s license-fee for the said district shall be ten pounds, and that the County Clerk of the County of Raglan shall be the Licensing Officer for the said Raglan District.

Amending Parcel-post Regulations.

WHEREAS under the provisions of “The Post Office Act 1881 Amendment Act, 1886,” and “The Post Office (Foreign Parcels) Act, 1888” (hereinafter termed “the said Acts”), Orders in Council were made on the twenty-third day of August, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven, the twenty-seventh day of November, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-eight, the tenth day of December, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-nine, and the twenty-third day of January, one thousand eight hundred and ninety, prescribing regulations and fixing rates of postage for the transmission of parcels through the post respectively within the colony to the United Kingdom, to foreign places by way of the United Kingdom, and to certain of the Australian Colonies and Tasmania: And whereas it is expedient to revoke the regulations and certain of the rates of postage made by the said Orders in Council and all amendments thereof (except the regulations contained in the Order in Council dated the twenty-fifth day of November, one thousand eight hundred and ninety, making regulations, inter alia, for the collection of Customs duty on parcels received from abroad), and to make others in lieu thereof:
Now, therefore, I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the said Acts, and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in that behalf, do hereby revoke the regulations made by the hereinbefore recited Orders in Council and all amendments thereof, except as aforesaid, and in lieu thereof do hereby make the regulations contained in the Schedule hereto as set out therein, do affirm and reappoint the rates of postage by such Orders in Council or their amendments as aforesaid required to be demanded and paid for the transmission through the post of any such parcel as aforesaid and as set out in the Schedule aforesaid, except such rates as have heretofore been demanded and paid for parcels addressed to Ceylon and the Straits Settlement, and do hereby order and declare that the rates of postage for parcels addressed to Ceylon and the Straits Settlements shall be those set out in the said Schedule; and do further order and declare that this Order in Council shall be and remain in force on and after the tenth day of April instant.
