Fixing Sitting of Court of Appeal.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this seventh day of March, 1893.

WHEREAS by “The Court of Appeal Act, 1882,” it is enacted that the Court shall hold its sittings at such times and places as shall from time to time be fixed by the Governor in Council, and proclaimed in the Government Gazette twenty-one days at least before the times so fixed respectively:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby fix that a sitting of the Court of Appeal of New Zealand shall be held within the Supreme Courthouse, in the City of Wellington, upon Monday, the twenty-fourth day of April, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-three, at eleven o’clock in the forenoon.

Land temporarily reserved in the Land District of Auckland.

WHEREAS by the two hundred and thirty-fifth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Land District of Auckland, described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purposes in the said Schedule specified in each case at the end of the description of the land so intended to be temporarily reserved.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND.
ALL that parcel of land in the Land District of Auckland, being numbered 6416 (in red), and being portion of the Pupuke Block numbered 3720 (in red), containing by admeasurement 3 acres 1 rood, more or less. Bounded towards the north-east by the Matahuna Stream; and towards the south-east, south-west, and north-west by the Pupuke Block aforesaid, 375·8, 600, and 789 links respectively, and being intersected by a road-line 100 links wide: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. For a Native school-site.
All that parcel of land in the Land District of Auckland, being Section No. 1 of the Town of Cambridge West, and containing by admeasurement 2 acres and 20 perches, more or less. Bounded towards the north-west by the Waikato River; towards the east by Sections Nos. 7 and 2 of the Town of Cambridge West aforesaid, 540 links; and towards the south and south-west by a road, 370 and 300 links respectively: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. For a gravel reserve.
All that parcel of land in the Land District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 4 acres, more or less, being Sections Nos. 21, 22, 28, and 29, Town of Cambridge East. Bounded on the north-east by Sections Nos. 27 and 20, 400 links, 30 links, and 400 links; on the south-east by Williamson Street, 515 links; on the south-west by Wilson Street, 803 links; on the north-west by Fort Street, 485 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Auckland. For police buildings and purposes.
All that parcel of land in the Land District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 9 acres 3 roods 17 perches, more or less, being Section No. 32A, Parish of Kaiwaka; Block XIV., Waipu; and Block III., Otamatea Survey Districts. Bounded on the north-west by north-west portion of Section No. 32, 876 links; on the east by Section No. 32B, 1462·6 links; on the south by a public road, 137·2 links, 413 links, and 231·9 links; on the west by Section No. 32C, 1051·6 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Auckland. For a quarry reserve.
All that parcel of land in the Land District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 17 acres 2 roods, more or less, being Section No. 21, Block XI., Te Aroha Survey District. Bounded on the north by Sections Nos. 88 and 67, Block IX., Te Aroha Survey District, 1854 links; on the south-east by a road, 1246·4 and 1141·5 links; on the west by a road, 1399·2 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Auckland. For an endowment for primary education.
All that parcel of land in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 16 acres and 19 perches, more or less, and being Section No. 12, Block XI., Tokatoka Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by a public road, 420·2, 318·7, 251·4, 1062·9, and 337·5 links respectively; on the south by Section No. 5, 1361·7 links; and on the west by Section No. 11, 1761·1 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. All that parcel of land in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 acres 2 roods 16 perches, more or less, and being Section No. 17, Block XI., Tokatoka Survey District. Bounded on the north by Section No. 14, 600 links; on the east by Section No. 18, 600 links; on the south by Section No. 16, 600 links; and on the west by Section No. 16 aforesaid, and the terminal of a road, 600 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. All that parcel of land in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 2 roods, more or less, being Section No. 202, Parish of Tauhoa, and situate in Block V., Mahurangi Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east and south-east by a public road, 277·5 links and 568·8 links; towards the south-west by Section No. 103A, Education Reserve, 304 links; and towards the north-west by Section No. 102, 481·4 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. For a reserve for public buildings for the use and benefit of the inhabitants of the Rodney County.
All that parcel of land in the Land District of Auckland, being known as Section No. 459A of the Parish of Whangamarino, and containing by admeasurement 8 acres 3 roods 11 perches, more or less. Bounded towards the north-west by a public road-line, 100 links wide, 824 links; towards the north-east by Section No. 458 of parish aforesaid, 1200 links; towards the south-east and south-west by Section No. 459 of parish aforesaid, 800 links and 1004 links respectively: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. For a public school-site.
All that parcel of land in the Land District of Auckland, being Allotment 3A of Section No. 6 of Block I., Harataunga Survey District, and containing by admeasurement 1 rood, more or less. Bounded towards the north by Allotment 2 of Section No. 6 aforesaid, 58·1 links; towards the east and north-east by a road reserve, 210 and 85 links; towards the south by a road, 204 links; and towards the west by Allotment 3 of Section No. 6 aforesaid, 237·8 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. For a reserve for public buildings for the use and benefit of the inhabitants of the Coromandel County.
All that parcel of land in the Land District of Auckland, being Allotment 3 of Section No. 6 of Block I., Harataunga Survey District, and containing by admeasurement 3 roods and 14 perches, more or less. Bounded towards the north by Allotment 2 of Section No. 6 aforesaid, 361·4 links; towards the east by Allotment 3A of Section No. 6 aforesaid, 237·8 links; towards the south by a road, 344·8 links; and towards the west by a road reserve, 159·9 and 79·2 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. For a public school-site.
All that parcel of land in the Land District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 15 acres 1 rood, more or less, being Section No. 12, Block X., Tauhoa Survey District. Bounded on the north-west by Native land, 360·5 links; on the east by a road, 1039·4 links, 1339·5 links, and 930 links; on the west by a road reserve, 1 chain wide, along the Omaumau Stream and high-water mark of the Kaipara Harbour: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Auckland. All that parcel of land in the Land District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 9 acres 2 roods 20 perches, more or less, being Section No. 11, Block X., Tauhoa Survey District. Bounded on the east by a road, 1200 links, 498·9 links, and 361·8 links; on the south-east by Section No. 10, Block X., Tauhoa Survey District, 361·8 links; on the south-west and north-west by a road reserve along the Omaumau Stream: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Auckland. For a public school-site.
All that parcel of land in the Land District of Auckland, being Section No. 77, Block V., Hukerenui Survey District, and containing by admeasurement 1 acre, more or less. Bounded towards the north by a public road-line, 200 links wide, 250 and 250 links; and towards the east, south, and west by lines, 200, 425, and 200 links respectively: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. For a reserve for public buildings for the use and benefit of the inhabitants of the Bay of Islands County.
