All that parcel of land in the Auckland Land District,
situate in Blocks VI. and VII., Whangarei Survey District,
and containing approximately 1,600 acres. Bounded towards
the north generally by a public road, by the Waitangi River,
by the Kahuwera Block, and again by the Waitangi River;
towards the east by Section No. 1 of Block VII., Whangarei
Survey District; towards the south generally by a right line
being the production in a westerly direction of the southern
boundary of the section last mentioned, and by the northern
boundary of the Parish of Parahaki; and towards the south-
west by the Ngarangipakura Block to the point of com-
mencement: save and except from the area hereinbefore
described Section No. 1, Block VI., Whangarei Survey
District.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this sixth day of December, one thousand eight
hundred and ninety-two.

Rural Lands in the Taranaki Land District open for Sale or Selection.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one hundred and thirty-sixth section
of “The Land Act, 1892” (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor of the Colony
of New Zealand, having received the report of the Surveyor-General in this behalf, as in the said section is provided, do
hereby declare that the rural lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be open for sale or selection, after the lapse
of a period of not less than thirty days from the date of the first public notification hereof in the New Zealand
Gazette, in the manner and upon the conditions mentioned in the said Act, and at the price per acre stated in the said
Schedule.

miles bridle-track.

All papa formation, the higher ridges are capped by a soft tufa-micaceous sandstone; the hills range from 700ft. to
1,000ft. above the river. A sum has been included in the prices, to cover cost of roading, without metalling. It is
proposed to make the valley road a cart-road, and the ridge and Otaweta Roads as bridle-tracks.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this sixth day of December, one thousand eight
hundred and ninety-two.
