Licensing of Vehicles.—By-law made by the McKenzie County Council.

IT is hereby notified, in accordance with section 311 of
"The Counties Act, 1886," that so much of the by-law
made by the Mackenzie County Council, and sealed on the
14th November, 1892, as appoints the several sums to be
paid to the county funds for the licensing of vehicles, has this
day been approved by His Excellency the Governor.

Licensing of Vehicles.—By-law made by the Manawatu Road Board.

IT is hereby notified, in accordance with section 311 of
"The Counties Act, 1886," that so much of the by-law
made by the Board of the Manawatu Road District, in the
County of Oroua (being a county in which the said Act is
suspended), and sealed on the 23rd September, 1892, as
appoints the several sums to be paid to the Clerk of the said
Board for the licensing of vehicles, has this day been ap-
proved by the His Excellency the Governor.

RESULT of poll, taken on the 26th November, 1892, upon the
proposal to borrow £2,500, under "The Government Loans
to Local Bodies' Act, 1886," to form, grade, and metal part
of the Bird Road and Skinner Road North :—

Total number of ratepayers on roll 23, exercising 24 votes ;
number of ratepayers voting in favour of the proposal, 13 ;
number of votes recorded for the proposal, 14 ; number of
votes recorded against the proposal, 2 ; number of informal
votes, 2.

I declare the proposal to be carried.
