THE KOH-I-NOOR GOLD-MINING AND DREDGING COMPANY (LIMITED).

AT an extraordinary meeting of the shareholders in the above company, held at Warner’s Hotel, Christchurch, on the 24th October, 1892, at 8 p.m., the following special resolution was passed, viz.: “That the company be wound up voluntarily;” and confirmed at a subsequent meeting of the shareholders, held at the Union Club, on the 8th instant, at 7.30 p.m.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CONSTRUCT WATER-RACE.

Otago Mining District, 14th November, 1892.
To the Warden at Livingstone.

WE hereby give notice that we intend to construct a water-race to divert and use water for purposes of irrigation and other industrial pursuits, and for driving machinery, commencing at a point in the Otikaike River 83 chains above the present woolwash, and terminating below the present woolwash.

The length of such race is 83 chains or thereabouts, and its intended course is through Section 2, Block XII., on the record-map of the Maruwenua Survey District. The race is already cut, and its entire course is through private lands, of which we are the owners in fee-simple, free from encumbrances of any kind.

The mean depth of such race is 2ft. 6in., and the mean breadth is 4ft.; and it is proposed to divert ten Government-heads of water.

Cost of construction: 12s. per chain.
Time required for construction: One month.
Number and date of miner’s right: 65657; 1st November, 1892.
