NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto existing between JOSEPH GOULD and JOHN BEAUMONT, carrying on business as Merchants and Land and Estate Agents, under the style or firm of “Gould, Beaumont, and Co.,” was dissolved (having terminated by the effluxion of time) on the 30th day of September, 1892. The business will be carried on in future by the undersigned Joseph Gould, under the style of “Gould, Beaumont, and Co.,” who will pay all debts owing by and receive all moneys owing to the late firm.

NOTICE is hereby given that, at an extraordinary meeting of the Barewood Quartz-mining Company (Limited), held in the company’s office, Dunedin, on the 27th October, 1892, the following extraordinary resolutions were duly passed:—

  1. “That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and it is advisable that it be wound up.”

  2. “That the company be wound up voluntarily.”

  3. “That Mr. W. Vivian, Dunedin, be appointed Liquidator.”

SPRINGS ROAD DISTRICT.

“PUBLIC WORKS ACT 1882 AMENDMENT ACT, 1884.”

NOTICE is hereby given, in accordance with the provisions of “The Public Works Act 1882 Amendment Act, 1884,” that it is the intention of the Springs Road Board to take the following land for the purpose of improving the approach to the ford at the River Selwyn, on the Brockside and Burnham Road :—

It is proposed to execute the following works on the land required: (1) Planting willows to protect the river-bank; (2) formation of approach to ford.

Notice is also hereby given that a plan, in accordance with subsection (1), section 10, Part II., of “The Public Works Act, 1882,” is open for inspection at the office of the Springs Road Board, Springston. Any person having well-grounded objection to the execution of the above-mentioned works or to the taking of the lands described in the above list shall forward such objection in writing to the office of the Springs Road Board, Springston, on or before Thursday, the 8th December, 1892.
