  • The departures for Australia are given subject to revision, as the Customs emigration returns do not include all passengers who go on board without booking. The numbers may eventually be somewhat increased after receipt of returns from the shipping companies.

† It is important to mention that, in the returns from which this table is made up, immigrants to the colony are all counted at the first port of arrival, and emigrants at the final port of departure.

Land Transfer Act Notices.

NOTICE is hereby given that the several parcels of land hereinafter described will be brought under the provisions of “The Land Transfer Act, 1885,” unless caveat be lodged forbidding the same in each case on or before the 13th day of November, 1892.

ALFRED BUCKLAND THE YOUNGER and WILLIAM COLEMAN.—Allotments 17, 18, 19, 20, and 21, Tamaki West Farms, containing 580 acres 1 rood. In the occupation of James Scott, jun. 2996.

ARCHIBALD KELSO.—Part of Keven’s Land Claim, Coromandel, containing 26 acres. In the occupation of Applicant. 2998.

APPLICATION having been made to me by THOMAS PULLIN, as registered Proprietor, for a provisional certificate of title to Section 1559, containing 252 acres and 10 perches, situated in the Arnold Survey District, title to which is registered in Vol. vii., folio 300, of District Land Register at Hokitika, and proof of the destruction of the original certificate of title by fire having been made to my satisfaction, I hereby notify that, at the expiration of fourteen days from the date of the Gazette containing this notice, I intend to issue a provisional certificate as requested.
