trict; thence by that road and its continuation through Section No. 91 to Section No. 108; thence by the road forming the north-eastern boundary of the said section No. 108, and that road continued through Section No. 92, and along the north-eastern boundaries of Sections Nos. 121, 93, 28, 109, 110, 94, 27, 111, 95, 26, 96, 222, and 29, all of Hokonui Survey District, passing Josephville Railway-station in the last-mentioned section, to the Oreti River; thence towards the east by the right bank of the said Oreti River to the southern boundary-line of Section No. 18, Taringatura Survey District; thence again towards the south by the southern boundary-line of Sections Nos. 18, 10, 66, 17, and 126, all of Taringatura Survey District, to Section No. 123; thence by the production of the southern boundary-line of the last-mentioned section through Section No. 123 to the southern boundary-line of Section No. 79; thence by that boundary-line and the southern boundary-line of Section No. 261, and by Sections Nos. 162B and 162A respectively to the north-western corner of the last-mentioned section; thence again towards the east generally by the said Section No. 162A, and by Run No. 154A, Sections Nos. 162C and 188, Taringatura Survey District, and by the southern boundary-line of the last-mentioned section produced to a point due north of the north-eastern corner of Section No. 245, Taringatura Survey District; thence by a line due south to the last-mentioned section; thence by the eastern boundary-line of that section and the eastern boundary-lines of Sections Nos. 244, 243, 242, 241, 240, 239, and 238 to Section No. 71; thence by that section and Section No. 63, Oreti Hundred, to the road which forms the north-eastern boundary of Section No. 53, Oreti Hundred; thence by Section No. 63 and the road which forms the south-eastern boundary of Section No. 53, and that road continued through Section No. 62 of the said Oreti Hundred to the western boundary of the said Section No. 62; thence by the eastern side of that road to Section No. 108; thence again towards the south by the said Section No. 108 and Sections Nos. 107 and 44 to the north-western corner of the last-mentioned section; thence again towards the east by the said Section No. 44, and Sections Nos. 43, 80, 86, 89, 90, 91, 94, and 95, all of the said Oreti Hundred, to the south-western corner of the last-mentioned section; thence again towards the south by the New River Hundred to the Waimatuku Stream; thence again towards the east by the left bank of that stream to the ocean; and thence again towards the south and towards the west by the ocean to the Wakatipu Electoral District aforesaid, the place of commencement.

INVERCARGILL.

This district is bounded towards the north by the Waihopai River; towards the east by the Mataura Electoral District, hereinbefore described; towards the south by the Seaward Bush Railway-line; again towards the east by Sections Nos. 15 and 21, Block XXII., Invercargill Hundred, and by the production of the western boundary-line of the latter section to Campbelltown Hundred; thence towards the south by Campbelltown Hundred; and towards the west by the New River Estuary to the Waihopai River aforesaid.

AWARUA.

This district is bounded towards the west and north-east generally by the Wallace Electoral District, hereinbefore described; towards the east generally by the Mataura Electoral District and the Invercargill Electoral District, hereinbefore described; and towards the south-west by Foveaux Straits to the Wallace Electoral District aforesaid, the place of commencement: including Stewart Island, Centre Island, Dog Island, and all adjacent islands.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, of Onslow in the County of Salop; Viscount Cranley, of Cranley in the County of Surrey; Baron Onslow, of Onslow in the County of Salop, and of West Clandon in the County of Surrey; Baron Cranley, of Imbercourt; Baronet; Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George; Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at Queenstown, this nineteenth day of January, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety-two.
