towards the south-west by a right line to the south-eastern corner of that section; thence by the said Section No. 6; thence again towards the north-west by the said Section No. 6 and Sections Nos. 9 and 80, a road, and Sections Nos. 1, 82, and 81, all of the said Block VII., by a road fronting Section No. 2, and by Section No. 10, Block X., of the said Waitahuna East Survey District; thence again towards the north-east by the last-mentioned section and by Section No. 44 of the said Block X. to the Waitahuna River; and thence again towards the north-west by that river to Bungtown Creek; thence towards the west generally by the right bank of the said Bungtown Creek to the northern boundary of Section No. 11, Block IX., Tuapeka East Survey District; thence towards the south by that section and Section No. 10 to Block X. of the said Tuapeka East Survey District; thence again towards the west by the said Block X. and Blocks XIII. and XVI. of the said Tuapeka East Survey District to the summit of the range leading from Trig. Station T to Trig. Station R of the said survey district; and thence towards the north-west by that summit to the Taieri Electoral District, hereinbefore described; thence towards the north-east generally by the said Taieri Electoral District to the ocean; thence towards the south-east by the ocean to the mouth of the Koau Branch of the Clutha River; and thence towards the south-west generally by the said Koau Branch and the Clutha River to the south-eastern boundary-line of the Borough of Balclutha; thence by the said Borough of Balclutha to the said Clutha River; and thence again towards the south-west by that river to the Pomahaka River; thence by the said Pomahaka River to the confluence of Back Creek with that river; thence again towards the north-west by that creek to a point due west of Trig. Station D, Rankleburn Survey District; thence towards the north by a line due east to the left bank of the Clutha River; and thence towards the east by the said left bank of the Clutha River to the mouth of the Crook Burn aforesaid.
TUAPEKA.
This district is bounded towards the north-east and east by the Waihemo Electoral District, hereinbefore described, from the source of Lauder Creek to Lammerlaw; again towards the north-east by the Taieri Electoral District, hereinbefore described, to the summit of the range leading from Trig. Station T to Trig. Station R, Tuapeka East Survey District; towards the south-east and south generally by the Bruce Electoral District, hereinbefore described, to a point on the left bank of the Clutha River due east of Trig. Station D, Rankleburn Survey District; thence towards the west by the Clutha River to the confluence of Blackcleugh Burn with the said Clutha River; thence by Blackcleugh Burn to a point due south of Tapanui Hill; thence by a right line to the said Tapanui Hill; thence by the summit of the range to Trig. Station L, Crookston Survey District; thence by Blocks XIV. and XIII., and Section No. 14, Block XVII., of the said Crookston Survey District, to the road forming the northern boundary of the said Section No. 14; thence towards the south by that road and the road forming the northern boundaries of the following sections, viz., Nos. 15 and 21 of the said Block XVII., 16, 15, and 14, Block XII., and 2 and 1, Block IX., Crookston Survey District, and Section No. 13, Block VIII., of the said survey district, to the road forming the north-eastern boundaries of Sections Nos. 10 and 28 of the said Block VIII.; thence by that road and its continuation through Section No. 11 to Spylaw Burn; thence by Spylaw Burn to its confluence with the Pomahaka River; thence again towards the east by the said Pomahaka River to the confluence of Leithen Burn with that river; thence towards the south-west by Leithen Burn to the source of its eastern branch; thence by a right line to Black Umbrella (Trig. Station K); thence towards the north-west by the summit of the Black Umbrella Mountains to a point due east of Rocky Mount; thence again towards the south by a right line to the said Rocky Mount; thence towards the west by the summit of the Garvie Mountains and the summit of the Carrick Range to Run No. 330A; thence again towards the north by the said Run No. 330A and Run No. 325A to the Clutha River; thence again towards the west by the right bank of that river to a point due west of the confluence of Leaning Rock Creek with the said Clutha River; thence again towards the north by a right line to the said confluence; and thence again towards the north-west by the said Leaning Rock Creek to its source; thence by a right line to Leaning Rock Hill; thence by the summit of the Dunstan Mountains to Run No. 238; and thence by that run and by Runs Nos. 237E and 226B to Lauder Creek, at the boundary of the Waihemo Electoral District aforesaid, the place of commencement.
CLUTHA.
This district is bounded towards the north and east generally by the Tuapeka Electoral District, hereinbefore de-
scribed, from Leithen Burn to a point on the left bank of the Clutha River due east of Trig. Station D, Rankleburn Survey District; thence towards the north-east generally by the Bruce Electoral District, hereinbefore described, to the ocean; thence towards the south-east by the ocean to Chasland’s Mistake; thence towards the south-west generally by a right line to Black Horn; thence by the summit of the watershed over Bleak Hill, the Chimney, and Flowerpot to Catlin’s Cone; thence by a right line to the source of the Waipahi River in Section No. 1, Block XI., Kuriwao Survey District; thence by the said Waipahi River to a point due east of the north side of a road traversing Section No. 4, Block XI., Waipahi Survey District; thence by the said road to the eastern boundary-line of the Waikaka Survey District; thence by the said Waikaka Survey District to the Southern Trunk Railway-line; thence towards the south by the said line of railway to the Township of East Gore; thence by that township to the Mataura River; thence again towards the south-west by the Mataura River to the confluence of the Okapua Stream with that river; thence towards the north-west by the said Okapua Stream to the Dunedin-Switzers Road; thence towards the north by that road; thence towards the west by the Chatton Survey District, and the western boundary-line of Block VII., Greenvale Survey District, and its production to the left bank of Leithen Burn, at the boundary of the Tuapeka Electoral District aforesaid, the place of commencement.
MATAURA.
This district is bounded towards the north-east generally by the Clutha Electoral District, hereinbefore described, from the mouth of the Okapua Stream to the ocean; towards the south by the ocean to a point in line with the western boundary-line of Block VII., Invercargill Hundred; thence towards the west by a right line to the said western boundary-line of Block VII., and thence by that boundary-line to Block V. of the said Invercargill Hundred; thence towards the north-west by the said Block V. and Block VI. of the said Invercargill Hundred to the eastern boundary-line of the latter block; thence towards the south-west by the said Block VI., and Blocks XI., XII., and XVIII. of the said Invercargill Hundred to the Makarewa River; thence again towards the north-west by that river to the north-western corner of Section No. 190, Forest Hill Hundred; thence towards the north by a line due east for a distance of 174 chains; thence again towards the west by a line due north for a distance of 200 chains; thence again towards the north-west by a line bearing N. 45° E. to the eastern boundary-line of the said Forest Hill Hundred; again towards the west by the Forest Hill Hundred aforesaid; again towards the south by the said Forest Hill Hundred to Lora Stream; thence again towards the north-west generally by the said Lora Stream to Run No. 148A; thence by the said Run No. 148A; thence again towards the north generally by the northern boundary-lines of Sections Nos. 449 and 267, Hokonui Survey District, to the Otamita Stream; thence by that stream to its confluence with the Mataura River; and thence by the left bank of the said Mataura River to the Okapua Stream, at the boundary of the Clutha Electoral District aforesaid, the place of commencement.
WAKATIPU.
This district is bounded towards the north-east and north-west by the Westland Electoral District, hereinbefore described; towards the east by the Waitaki Electoral District, hereinbefore described; towards the south-east by the Waihemo, the Tuapeka, and the Clutha Electoral Districts respectively, hereinbefore described; towards the south by the Mataura Electoral District, hereinbefore described; towards the south-west generally by the Mataura River to its source near Eyre Peak; thence by right lines over Eyre Peak and Jane Peak to Hummock Peak; thence by the summit of the watershed over Mount Lookup and the Thomson Mountains to a line drawn between Round Peak and Moffat Peak; thence towards the south by a right line to Moffat Peak; thence by a right line to Mount Eglington; thence again towards the south-west by the summit of the Earl Mountains to a point in line with the Castle Mountain and Cloudy Pass; thence again towards the south by a right line over the said Castle Mountain and Cloudy Pass to Bligh Sound; and thence by the said Bligh Sound to the ocean; and thence again towards the north-west by the ocean.
WALLACE.
This district is bounded towards the north-east generally by the Wakatipu Electoral District, hereinbefore described; towards the south generally by the Mataura Electoral District, hereinbefore described, to Run No. 148A; thence towards the south-west generally by the said Run No. 148A and by the western boundary-line of Run No. 119A to Cowan’s Creek; thence by the said Cowan’s Creek to the road running through Section No. 178, Hokonui Survey Dis-
