NOTICE is hereby given that the several parcels of land hereinafter described will be brought under the provisions of "The Land Transfer Act, 1885," unless caveat be lodged forbidding the same on or before the 22nd day of October, 1892.

Mining Notices.

In the matter of "The Companies Act, 1882," and its amendments, and of the Ophir Waterworks and Hydraulic Mining Company (Limited).

NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to section 202 of "The Companies Act, 1882," that a General Meeting of the members of the above-named company will be held on the 30th day of November, 1892, at 12 o'clock noon, at my offices, in Rattray Street, in Dunedin, in order that there may be laid before the said company an account showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company has been disposed of, and in order that the said company may hear any explanation that may be given by the Liquidator, and also in order that an extraordinary resolution may be passed for determining the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the said company and of the Liquidator shall be disposed of.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CONSTRUCT WATER-RACE.

"The Mining Act 1886 Amendment Act, 1887."

Dunstan, Clyde, 30th August, 1892.

To the Warden at Clyde.

I HEREBY give notice that I intend to construct a Water-race to divert and use water for mining purposes, commencing at a point in the Earnscleugh River between Thomas Hawley's race, No. 4, and John Bourke's race, No. 8, and terminating at Sandy Point.

The length of such race is three miles or thereabouts, and its intended course is east and west.

The mean depth of such race is 1ft. 6in., and the mean breadth is 3ft., and it is proposed to divert six Government-heads of water.

Cost of construction, £200; time required for construction, three months.

Number and date of miner's right: 48274, 30th August, 1892.
