Application for Registration of a Trade-mark.

NOTICE is hereby given that GILLIAT HATFIELD, trading as “James Taddy & Co.,” and as “Taddy & Co.,” of 45, Minories, London, England, Tobacco Manufacturer, has applied to register, under “The Patents, Designs, and Trade-marks Act, 1889,” the trade-mark of which the following is a representation:—

The applicant claims as the essential particulars of this trade-mark a label showing two divisions, the larger one representing an ornamental oblong frame, on which is placed an oval tablet, bearing in the centre the trade-mark device of a monogram in a circle, said device being enclosed in an oval; also the word “Premier” above the said oval. At each corner of the frame is placed a floral spray. The smaller division comprises the trade-mark device of monogram enclosed in a circle and ornamental frame. And he disclaims any right to the exclusive use of the added matter.

Nature of the Articles to which it is intended such Trade-mark shall apply.

Tobacco and cigarettes.

Class of Goods in connection with which the Applicant desires the Trade-mark to be registered.

Class No. 45.

Any person may, within two months of the date of this Gazette, give notice, in duplicate, at this office, of opposition to the registration of the trade-mark. A fee of £1 is payable with such notice.

NOTICE is hereby given that J. AND W. NICHOLSON AND Co., of 193 to 205, St. John Street, Clerkenwell, London, England, Distillers, have applied to register, under “The Patents, Designs, and Trade-marks Act, 1889,” the trade-mark of which the following is a representation:—
