and Sections Nos. 21, 20, 16, 15, 14, 12, 11, and 9, Block
VIII., Section No. 7, Block XIII., and Section No. 5, Block
XII.; thence by the said Section No. 5 and by Section No.
19 of the said Block XII., Belmont Survey District, and a
line across the road to Port Nicholson; and again towards
the south-east generally by Port Nicholson and the ocean;
and towards the south-west and north-west by the ocean to
the line first mentioned: including Mana Island.

HUTT DISTRICT.

Bounded on the north by part of a line drawn due east
from the coast through the highest point of the road crossing
the Paikakariki Hill to where it intersects the summit
of the Tararua Range; towards the south-east by that summit
and the summit of the Rimutaka Range to Cape Turakirae; thence towards the south-west generally by the
ocean and the waters of Port Nicholson to a point opposite
the southern corner of Section No. 19, Block XII., Belmont
Survey District; and towards the north-west generally by a
line across the road to the said corner; thence by Sections
Nos. 18 and 3 of the said block, and by the western side of a
road bounding Section No. 5 of the said Block XII., bounding
Section No. 7 of Block XIII., and bounding Sections Nos.
9, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, 20, 21, and 22, Block VIII.; thence by
Sections Nos. 24, 25, 26, and 27 of the said Block VIII., by
Sections Nos. 28, 29, 30, and 339, Block II., by Section No.
332, Block III., and by the western side of a road intersecting
Sections Nos. 352, 334, 337, 341, 342, 345, 433, 436,
57, and 59, Block III.; and bounding Sections Nos. 16, 15,
7, 10, 6, and 2, Block IV., Belmont Survey District, and
Sections Nos. 19 and 16, Block X., Paikakariki Survey District, and intersecting Sections Nos. 11, 3, 4, and 6, and
bounding Sections Nos. 34, 25A, and 26; and thence by Section
No. 24A of Block X. aforesaid to the north-east corner
of the last-mentioned section; thence by a right line to the
point on or about the west boundary of Section No. 391,
Akatarawa Survey District, where it is intersected by the
line from the coast near Paikakariki Hill aforesaid.

And I hereby declare that this Proclamation shall come
into operation on the twenty-second day of August, in the
year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety-two.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by the one hundred and fourth section of
"The Land Act, 1885," it is enacted that the
Governor, by Proclamation in the Gazette, may from time to
time set apart out of any suburban or rural lands such blocks
or allotments of lands as he shall think fit, and set the same
aside for sale on deferred payments, and in such Proclamation
may fix a day on which the land shall be open for application; and that he may also in like manner set apart for
sale on deferred payments such blocks or allotments as may
be recommended by any Land Board, and may also from time
to time alter, amend, or revoke any such Proclamation:
And whereas the land specified in the Schedule hereto was,
with other lands, by Proclamation dated the second day of
September, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-four, proclaimed as set apart for sale on deferred payments: And
whereas it is expedient to withdraw the said land from the
deferred-payment system:

Now, therefore, I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor
of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of
the power and authority vested in me by the above-named
Act, do hereby revoke the Proclamation above referred to, so
far as it relates to the section therein mentioned and included
in the Schedule hereto, and do proclaim and declare that the
said section is hereby withdrawn from the operation of the
deferred-payment system.

SCHEDULE.

TOWNSHIP of Waikoikoi: Section 19, 3 acres 2 roods and
10 perches.

conferred upon me by the one hundred and sixty-sixth
section of "The Land Act, 1885," I, David, Earl of Glasgow,
the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby set
apart the lands enumerated in the Schedule herewith for
sale as a village settlement, upon such terms and conditions
as are set forth in an Order in Council of even date herewith,
and made under the one hundred and sixty-seventh section
of the said Act.
