running along the east side thereof to the creek, and crossing
the same at one mile sixty-eight chains; thence to the edge
of the creek in the Try Fluke Battery-site, and terminating
there at one mile seventy and one-half chains from the
aforesaid landing-place.
Branch Line: Commencing from a junction with the main
line at seventy-six chains from the landing-place aforesaid,
proceeding northerly and easterly along the Waitaia Road to
fifteen and one-half chains; thence along the south-western
side of and rejoining the Waitaia Road at twenty-one
chains; thence along the said road to thirty-six and one-
half chains; thence along the western side and rejoining the
said road at forty-two and one-half chains; thence along the
said road past Curtis's Battery, and terminating on the said
road at fifty chains: with power to make necessary and con-
venient junctions, sidings, passing-places, and crossings for
the purposes of such tramway.
And notice is hereby given that the said tramway is
intended to be used for both goods- and passenger-traffic;
and that a copy of this advertisement and a proper plan of
the proposed works, and all other documents required to be
deposited under the provisions of "The Tramways Act,
1872," will, on or before the 18th day of August, 1892, be
deposited for public inspection in the office, in the City of
Auckland, of the Registrar of the Supreme Court; and also
in the office of the Coromandel County Council, at Coro-
mandel; and also in the office of His Excellency the Governor,
in the City of Wellington: and that printed copies of the
draft order when deposited pursuant to subsection 3 of
the Third Schedule of "The Tramways Act, 1872," and of the
order when made, can be obtained at the office of Turner
Brothers, Surveyors and Engineers, Kuaotuna aforesaid.

NOTICE OF EXTRAORDINARY RESOLUTION
PASSED FOR WINDING UP VOLUNTARILY.
In the matter of "The Companies Act, 1882," and in the
matter of the Northern River Steam Navigation Company
(Limited).
A N extraordinary general meeting of the above-named
company, of which notice was duly given, specifying the
intention to propose the subjoined resolution, was held at
Auckland on the 4th day of July, 1892, at 2.30 o'clock in the
afternoon, and the following extraordinary resolution was
passed:—
"That it has been proved to the satisfaction of the com-
pany that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities,
continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up
the same."
And Mr. E. D. BENJAMIN was appointed Liquidator for the
purpose of winding-up the said company.

THE COLONIAL INSURANCE COMPANY OF
NEW ZEALAND.
N OTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of section 142 of
"The Companies Act, 1862," that a General Meeting
of the shareholders of the above-named company will be held
at the offices of the Commercial Union Assurance Company
(Limited), at No. 32, Lambton Quay, in the City of Wellington,
on Tuesday, the 4th day of October, 1892, at 3 o'clock in
the afternoon, for the purpose of having an account laid
before them showing the manner in which the winding-up
has been conducted and the property of the company dis-
posed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given
by the Liquidators; and also of determining by extraordinary
resolution the manner in which the books, accounts, and
documents of the company, and of the liquidation thereof,
shall be disposed of.
