in the Schedule hereto shall be open for sale or selection,
after the lapse of a period of not less than forty-five days
from the date of the first public notification hereof, in the
manner and upon the conditions mentioned in the said Act,
and at the price per acre stated in the said Schedule.

SCHEDULE.

UNSURVEYED FIRST-CLASS LAND.

Wairarapa North County; Mangaone Survey District;
area, 5,350 acres. Cash price per acre, £1 1s. to £1 11s. ;
deferred-payment price per acre, £1 6s. 3d. to £1 18s. 9d. ;
perpetual-lease rent per acre, 1s. 0½d. to 1s. 6¾d.

Being all that block of land containing about 5,350 acres,
called or known by the name of Mount Baker Block, situated
in the Wairarapa North County, in Blocks X., XI., XIV., and
XV., Mangaone Survey District. Bounded towards the north
by the Mangaone Block; towards the east by the Pioneer
Farm Homestead Association Block; towards the south by
the Mangamahoe Road; and towards the west by the
Mangaoronga and Mount Bowen Roads.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this fourteenth day of January, one thousand
eight hundred and ninety-two.

or Selection.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by the third section of "The Land
Act Amendment Act, 1887" (hereinafter termed "the said
Act"), I, William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the Governor of
the Colony of New Zealand, having received the report of the
Surveyor-General in this behalf, as in the said section is
provided, do hereby declare that the rural land enumerated
in the Schedule hereto shall be open for sale or selection,
after the lapse of a period of not less than forty-five days
from the date of the first public notification hereof, in the
manner and upon the conditions mentioned in the said Act,
and at the price per acre stated in the said Schedule.

SCHEDULE.

UNSURVEYED FIRST-CLASS LAND.

Makuri and Mount Cerberus Survey Districts; area, 10,300
acres. Cash price per acre, £1 1s. to £1 18s. 6d.; deferred-
payment price per acre, £1 6s. 3d. to £2 8s. 1¼d. ; perpetual-
lease rent per acre, 1s. 0¼d. to 1s. 11d.

Being all that area containing approximately 10,300 acres,
and situated in Blocks VI., VII., XI., and XVI., Makuri, and
Blocks I. and XII. Mount Cerberus, Survey Districts.
Bounded on the north-east by the Provincial District of
Hawke's Bay; on the south-east by Crown lands and the
Coonoor Farm Homestead Block; on the south-west by the
Middle Makuri Puketoi Block; and on the north-west by
the North Puketoi Block.

Wanganui County; Manganui, Makotuku, and Rarete
Survey Districts; area, 13,700 acres. Cash price per acre, £1
to £1 12s. 6d. ; deferred-payment price per acre, £1 5s. to
£2 0s. 7½d. ; perpetual-lease rent per acre, 1s. to 1s. 7¼d.

Being all that block of land containing about 13,700 acres,
called or known as the Waimarino-Atuahae Block, and situated
in Blocks XIII. and XIV., Manganui Survey District; Blocks
I., II., V., VI., IX., and X., Makotuku Survey District; and
Block XII., Rarete Survey District. Bounded towards the
north and north-east by Crown lands; towards the east by
the Makotuku Valley Road and Crown lands set aside for a
Farm Homestead Association; towards the south by Native
land; and towards the west by the Mangoihe Block and
Reserve A, Waimarino Block.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this fourteenth day of January, one thousand
eight hundred and ninety-two.

per acre, £1 3s. 1¼d. to £2 1s. 10¼d. ; perpetual-lease rent per
acre, 11d. to 1s. 8d.: being all that parcel of land, containing
about 6,000 acres, called or known by the name of Oroua-
Coal Creek North Block, situated in the Oroua County, in
Blocks X., XI., XII., XIV., XV., and XVI., Aputi Survey
District. Bounded towards the north by the Feilding
Special Settlement Block; towards the east by Coal Creek
and Crown lands; towards the south by the Oroua-Coal
Creek Block; and towards the west by the Oroua River.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,

Macraes, distant from the latter, a railway-station, from four to eight miles; distance from Dunedin, about 56 miles,
Altitude, from 1,200ft. to 1,500ft. above sea-level.
