Section No. 245 of the Parish of Waimana; towards the
east by Section No. 312 of the same parish, and a right line
being the production in a southerly direction of the western
boundary of that section; again towards the north by a right
line running due west to the southern angle of the road which
forms the southern boundary of Section No. 150 of the Parish
of Waimana; towards the north-east generally by a public
road, by Section No. 181 of the Parish of Waimana, and by
the Waingarara Stream; towards the east generally by the
Nukuhou River, and Sections Nos. 183, 184, 185, 186, 187,
188, 189, 190, 191, 192, 193, 194, 197, 198, 199, and 200 of the
Parish of Waimana; towards the south by Sections Nos.
203, 202, 201, and 307 of the same parish; and towards the
west generally by the Waimana River, and Sections Nos.

remainder open land, fern and tea-tree, indifferent soil.
This block is situate three to four miles south of Ohiwa
Harbour.

situate in the Parish of Rangitaiki, and containing approxi-
mately 3,400 acres. Bounded towards the north and north-
west generally by a public road; towards the south-east by
Sections Nos. 30, 38, and 31 of the Parish of Rangitaiki;
towards the south-west by Section No. 60A of the same
parish; and towards the west generally by Sections Nos. 11
and 12 of the same parish to the point of commencement.
About one-third mixed bush, remainder open land and
swamp; situated upon inland road Whakatane to Te Teko,
and about four miles from the former.

All that parcel of land in the Auckland Land District,
situate in the Parish of Matata, and containing approxi-
mately 4,300 acres. Bounded towards the north by the
southern boundary of Blocks I., II., and III., Rangitaiki
Upper Survey District; towards the south-east generally by
Section No. 53 of the Parish of Matata, by a public road,
by Sections Nos. 64, 56, 57, 58, and 72 of the Parish of Ma-
tata, and by the north-west boundary of the last-named
section produced to the Tarawera River; and towards the
west generally by the Tarawera River, by Section No. 45 of
the Parish of Matata, and again by the Tarawera River to
the point of commencement.
Nearly all more or less swampy land, lying between Rangi-
taiki and Tarawera Rivers, about six miles from Matata.
Price, 10s. an acre.

All that parcel of land in the Auckland Land District,
situate in the Parish of Matata, and containing approxi-
mately 3,600 acres. Bounded towards the north-east by a
right line being the production in a north-westerly direction
of the south-western boundary of Section No. 14A (No. 2)
of the Parish of Matata, and by the said section; towards the
east generally by a public road, by Section No. 23A of the
Parish of Matata, and by the western boundaries of Block
III., Awa-o-te-Atua Survey District, and Block II., Rangitaiki
Upper Survey District; towards the south-east, north-west,
and south-west by Section No. 21 of the Parish of Matata ;
and again towards the north-west by a right line being the
production in a north-easterly direction of the north-western
boundary of said Section No. 21 to the point of com-
mencement.
About one-third mixed bush, remainder open and swamp
land of medium quality; situated about two miles from
Matata.
Price, 10s. an acre.

All that parcel of land in the Auckland Land District,
situate in the Parish of Matata, and containing approxi-
mately 8,450 acres. Bounded towards the north generally
by Sections Nos. 21, 26, 25, 24, and again by Section No. 21
of the Parish of Matata; towards the east generally by the
Tarawera River, by part of Section No. 29 of the Parish of
Matata, again by the Tarawera River, by Section No. 1 of
Block V., Rangitaiki Upper Survey District, and again by
the Tarawera River; towards the south generally by Sections
No. 39A, 40, 41, and 42 of the Parish of Matata, and again by
Section No. 39A aforesaid; and towards the west by the west-
ern boundary of the Rangataiki Upper Survey District to the
point of commencement: save and except Sections Nos. 38
and 35 of the Parish of Matata from the area hereinbefore
described.
Nearly all open and swamp land, of inferior quality, with
a little mixed bush on outer edge; situated about six to seven
miles south of Matata.

IN exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the second section of "The Public
Reserves Sale Act, 1888," I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby declare
and direct that the lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto
shall cease to be reserved, and that the same shall be sold
and disposed of under the provisions of section three of
"The Land Act Amendment Act, 1887."

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto
was, by warrant under the hand of His Excellency
the Governor, dated the twenty-sixth day of December, one
thousand eight hundred and ninety-one, and published in
the New Zealand Gazette of the thirty-first day of December,
one thousand eight hundred and ninety-one, set apart for
selection by the various holders of remission certificates
issued under the authority of "The Naval and Military
Settlers' and Volunteers' Land Act, 1891:"
Now, therefore, I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor
of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of
the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the eighth
section of the said Act, do hereby fix the price of the sec-
tions of land enumerated in the Schedule hereto to be the
price stated in the fourth column of the said Schedule.
