WAIROA ROAD DISTRICT, COUNTY OF MANUKAU.

UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF “THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT, 1882,” AND THE AMENDMENTS THEREOF.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the Board of the Wairoa Road District, County of Manukau, to make and construct a public road through the Mataitai No. 6 Block, in the said road district, and for that purpose to take, under the provisions of “The Public Works Act, 1882,” and its amendments, all that piece of land containing 24 acres and 32 perches, more or less, situated in the Wairoa South District, in the Provincial District of Auckland, traversing the Mataitai No. 6 Block for about two miles; as more particularly shown on the plan hereinafter mentioned.

All persons affected by the construction of the said road and the taking of the said lands are hereby called upon to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the execution of such work and the taking of the said lands, and to send such writing, addressed to the said Board at Clevedon, within forty days from the publication of this notice.

A plan of the said road, showing the lands proposed to be taken, has been deposited at the residence of the Chairman of the said Board at Clevedon aforesaid, and is open to inspection by all persons at all reasonable hours.
