by the said Section No. 2 and Sections Nos. 10 and 11, Block XV., Mount Robinson Survey District, to the road fronting the western boundary of the said Section No. 10; thence by the continuation of that road passing Sections Nos. 14, 7, 4, 3, 2, and 1 of the said Block XV., and Sections Nos. 3, 2, and 1, Block X., to the Manawatu River; thence towards the north-west generally by that river to its confluence with the Oroua River; and thence by the said Oroua River to the Feilding Special-settlement Association’s Block aforesaid.

FOXTON DISTRICT.

All that area in the Land District of Wellington bounded towards the north-west by the Rangitikei River from the sea-coast to the south-western boundary-line of Section No. 63, Block II., Te Kawau Survey District; thence towards the north-east by the said Section No. 63, and by the road which forms the southern boundary of Section No. 64 of the said Block II., and by that road continued easterly through Blocks II., VI., VII., and VIII. of Te Kawau Survey District aforesaid to the Oroua River; thence towards the south-east by the left bank of the said Oroua River to its confluence with the Manawatu River; and thence by the left bank of the said Manawatu River to the road forming the north-eastern boundary of Section No. 1, Block X., Mount Robinson Survey District; thence again towards the north-east generally by the north side of the said road and its continuation, passing Sections Nos. 2 and 3, Block X., Sections Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, and 14, Block XV., Mount Robinson Survey District, to the south-western boundary-line of Section No. 6 of the said block; thence by that section and Sections Nos. 9 and 1, Block IV., Waiopelhu Survey District, to the southernmost corner of the latter section; thence by a line due east to the summit of the Tararua Range; thence again towards the south-east by the summit of that range to a point due east of the source of the Ohau River; thence towards the south by a right line to the said source; thence by the Ohau River to the sea; and thence towards the west by the sea to the Rangitikei River.

And I hereby declare that this Proclamation shall come into operation on the fifteenth day of July, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety-two.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable David, Earl of Glasgow; Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George; Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-fourth day of June, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety-two.

Districts constituted under “The Registration of Births and Deaths Act, 1875.”

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in the Governor by “The Registration of Births and Deaths Act, 1875,” I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby abolish the existing registration districts known as the Palmerston North and Foxton Districts; and do proclaim and declare that the territory heretofore comprised within the said districts is hereby divided anew into two registration districts, the names whereof shall be the Palmerston North and Foxton Districts, and the boundaries whereof shall be coterminous with the boundaries of the marriage districts bearing the same names as are set forth in a Proclamation of even date herewith, made under the provisions of “The Marriage Act, 1880.”

And I hereby declare that this Proclamation shall come into operation on the fifteenth day of July, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety-two.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by Proclamation bearing date the fifteenth day of October, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-one, published in the New Zealand Gazette of the same date, the island known as Goat Island, in the Otago Harbour, was set apart as a quarantine-ground for cattle, camels, deer, horses, goats, sheep, and dogs imported into the Port of Dunedin: And whereas it appears expedient to revoke the said Proclamation in manner hereinafter appearing:

Now, therefore, I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred upon me by “The Diseased Cattle Act, 1891” (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), do hereby revoke the said recited Proclamation as from the thirtieth day of September next, and do hereby proclaim and declare that, from and after such last-mentioned date, Goat Island, in the Otago Harbour, shall cease to be a quarantine-ground for the purposes of the said Act (save only as to any quarantine commenced or pending at the said ground and uncompleted at such last-mentioned date).

Revoking Order in Council under the Fisheries Encouragement Act.

GLASGOW, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-eighth day of June, 1892.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS an Order in Council prohibiting the exportation from the colony of all rock-oysters taken or produced in the waters of the colony was made, under the powers conferred by “The Fisheries Encouragement Act, 1885,” on the sixth day of October, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-one, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 77, of the fifteenth day of the same month:

And whereas so much of the said Order in Council of the sixth day of October, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-one, as prohibited the exportation from the colony of shore oysters or mangrove oysters was revoked by Order in Council dated the first day of February, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-two, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 14, of the eleventh day of the same month:

And whereas it is desirable to revoke the remainder of the said Order in Council of the sixth day of October, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-one:

Now, therefore, I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of all the powers enabling me in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, do hereby revoke, as from the first day of July, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-two, so much of the said Order in Council of the sixth day of October, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-one, as was not revoked by the said Order in Council of the first day of February, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-two.
