N accordance with section 7 of “The Foreign Companies
Act, 1884,” and section 354 of “The Mining Act, 1891,”
it is hereby notified that the office in the Colony of New
Zealand of the Island Block Gold-mining Company (Limited)
is situated at Island Block, Tuapeka, Otago.

OTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto sub-
sisting between EPHRAIM TOOMER and HENRY WILLIAM
TOOMER, as Boot Manufacturers, under the style or firm of
“Toomer Brothers and Co.,” has been dissolved as and from
the 19th day of May, 1892, and that the business will in
future be carried on by the said Henry William Toomer
alone, under the style of “Toomer Brothers and Co.,” and he
will receive all debts due to the firm, and will pay all lia-
bilities.

PATENT OFFICE SUPPLEMENT.

A
SEPARATE Supplement to the New Zealand Gazette is
now published fortnightly, containing all notices con-
cerning patents and trade-marks required by law to be
gazetted; also, particulars of lapsed applications for patents,
expired letters patent, and other information useful to in-
ventors, manufacturers, and others. The Supplement will
be issued free to subscribers to the Gazette, and to others on
payment of a special subscription of ten shillings per annum,
payable in advance to the Government Printer.

THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

UBSCRIPTIONS.—The subscription is at the rate of 30s.
per annum, PAYABLE IN ADVANCE. A less period than
three months cannot be subscribed for.
Single copies of the Gazette, 6d. each.
Advertisements are charged at the uniform rate of 6d. per
line for each insertion.
For statements under the Mining Act the charge is 2s.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the
paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible
hand.
The number of insertions required must be written across
the face of the advertisement.
The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday even-
ing in each week, and notices for insertion must be received
by the Government Printer before two o’clock of the day
preceding publication.
Communications should be addressed to the Government
Printer, Wellington, to whom post-office money-orders should
be made payable.
Postage- or duty-stamps cannot be received in payment
from any place at which postal notes or post-office orders are
issued.
Booksellers and Advertising Agents will be allowed a com-
mission at the rate of 5 per cent.
NO ADVERTISEMENT WILL BE INSERTED WITHOUT PREPAY-
MENT BEING MADE.
