hereinafter described will be brought under the provisions of "The Land Transfer Act, 1885," unless caveat be
lodged forbidding the same within one calendar month after
the date of the Gazette containing this notice.

(Limited) is situated at Blue Spur, Otago.

carry on business in New Zealand, at Kuaotunu, in the Provincial District of Auckland, New Zealand; and that the

MINING COMPANY (LIMITED).

NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of section 202 of
"The Companies Act, 1882," that a General Meeting
of the members of the above-named company will be held at
the registered office of the company, Exchange Court,
Princes Street, Dunedin, on Friday, the 5th day of August,
1892, at 12 o'clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of having
an account laid before them showing the manner in which
the winding-up has been conducted, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liquidator; and also of
determining, by extraordinary resolution, the manner in which
the books, accounts, and documents of the company and the
Liquidator thereof shall be disposed of.

SUCCESS GOLD-MINING COMPANY (LIMITED).

An extraordinary general meeting of the Success Gold-
mining Company (Limited), duly convened and held
at the company's office, Victoria Arcade, Auckland, on Monday, the 16th May, 1892, the subjoined extraordinary resolution was duly passed: "That it has been proved to the
satisfaction of the shareholders that the company cannot, by
reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it
is advisable to wind up the same, and that the same be
now wound up." And at the same meeting JOSEPH J.
MACKY, of Auckland, was appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up.

BOROUGH OF KAIAPOI.

In the matter of "The Public Works Act, 1882," and the
amendments thereof.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed by the Kaiapoi Borough Council, under the provisions of "The
Public Works Act, 1882," and the amendments thereof, to
execute a certain public work, to wit, the acquiring and
maintenance of a public drain through part of Rural Section
No. 321, from Hugh Street to Fuller Street, in the Borough
of Kaiapoi; and for the purpose of such public work the land
described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken.
And notice is further hereby given that the plan of the said
drain and of the land so required to be taken is deposited in
the office of the said Kaiapoi Borough Council, and is there
open for inspection. And notice is further hereby given that
all persons affected by the execution of the said public work
or by the taking of the said land shall, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of such public work or
to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and
send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk of the Borough of
Kaiapoi, at Kaiapoi.

THE REEFTON ELECTRICAL TRANSMISSION OF
POWER AND LIGHTING COMPANY (LIMITED).

NOTICE is hereby given that, at the extraordinary
general meeting of the shareholders of the above
company, held the 5th day of May, 1892, the following
special resolution was passed unanimously: "That the
Reefton Electrical Transmission of Power and Lighting
Company (Limited) be wound up voluntarily, in terms of
'The Companies Act, 1882;' and that the assets of the said
company be sold to the Reefton Electric Light and Power
Company (Limited) for such sum as will cover the liabilities
of the before-mentioned company, in terms of the prospectus
issued to shareholders, and dated the 21st day of April,
1892." And that at the extraordinary general meeting of the
shareholders, held the 20th day of May, 1892, the said special
resolution was unanimously confirmed.
