REMARKS.—Fine weather up to 12th, with prevailing N.W. wind, and at times fresh; showery from 13th to 19th, with southerly winds, then fine from N.W. until night of 24th, when it rained heavily from N.W., and strong wind; also heavy rain on 25th and 26th; 1·93in. recorded on 26th for previous twenty-four hours, the maximum fall for month; and 1·00in. on 27th, wind changed to south, and cold. Prevailing N.W. wind for month. Maximum temperature in shade, 70; minimum, 40; mean temperature of dewpoint, 49·7; mean humidity, 74. Earthquake on 11th at noon and afternoon, slight.

Land Transfer Act Notices.

APPLICATION having been made to me to register a dealing over Section 11, Block V., Kopuaranga Survey District, comprised in Crown Lease Register-book, Vol. i.A, folio 16, whereof ALFRED HILL HICKSON is the registered Lessee, and evidence having been lodged with me of the loss of the original lease, I hereby give notice that I will dispense with the production of the original lease, and register the dealing as requested, unless caveat be lodged forbidding the same on or before the 16th day of June, 1892.
