(by her Trustee, Matene Tauwhare), and Wirihana Pitama, the Native owners of the land described in the second column of the Schedule hereto, praying that the restrictions on the alienation of such land contained in the Crown grant, bearing date the eleventh day of March, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-four, described in the first column of the said Schedule, may be removed: And whereas inquiry has been duly made by the Native Land Court, and the said Court has reported that the provisions of the law in that behalf have been complied with: And whereas it appears expedient to grant such application:

Now, therefore, His Excellency Sir James Prendergast, the Administrator of the Government of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by “The Native Land Act, 1888,” and acting with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order and declare that all restrictions imposed by the said Crown grant on the alienation of the said land are hereby removed.

SCHEDULE.

Crown grant 3110, C.L. 19, W. 3262, Land Transfer, Vol. iii., folio 119, dated the 11th March, 1874, in favour of Teera te Ahihurahura, and indorsed, “Inalienable to any person other than Her Majesty, her heirs and successors, provided always that the said land hereby granted shall be inalienable by sale, or by lease for a longer period than twenty-one years, or by mortgage, except with the consent of the Governor being previously obtained to every such sale, lease, or mortgage.” | All that parcel of land in the District of Wellington, containing 18 acres 1 rood 3 perches, and known as Te Momi, Subsection 12 of Section 20, Hutt.
