meeting shall be held on Saturday, the twenty-eighth day of
May, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-two.
2. Special meetings may be convened by the Chairman or
by any two members of the Board, provided that two days'
notice of such meeting be given to each member, specifying
the business to be transacted at such special meeting, and
no other business than that so specified shall be transacted
at such meeting.
3. Any three of the said Board shall form a quorum. Any
meeting may be adjourned from time to time.
4. The members of the Board shall, at their first meeting,
and thereafter at an annual meeting to be held on the fourth
Saturday in January in every succeeding year thereafter,
elect one of themselves to be Chairman, who may join in the
discussion, and shall have an original as well as a casting
vote. The Chairman shall hold office until the election of
his successor.
5. If at any meeting the Chairman is not present at the
time appointed for holding the same, the members present
shall choose some one of their number to be Chairman of
such meeting.
6. If, by resignation, death, or incapacity, or otherwise,
the office of Chairman shall be or become vacant, the mem-
bers may at any monthly or special meeting appoint a
Chairman.
7. All questions shall be determined by the majority of
votes of the members of the Board present at a meeting.

Fixing the Price of Land in Auckland set apart for Naval
and Military and Volunteer Land Claims.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto
was, by warrant under the hand of His Excellency
the Governor, dated the twenty-sixth day of December, one
thousand eight hundred and ninety-one, and published in
the New Zealand Gazette of the thirty-first day of December,
one thousand eight hundred and ninety-one, set apart for
selection by the various holders of remission certificates
issued under the authority of "The Naval and Military
Settlers' and Volunteers' Land Act, 1891:"

Now, therefore, I, James Prendergast, the Administrator
of the Government of the Colony of New Zealand, in pur-
suance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
upon me by the eighth section of the said Act, do hereby fix
the price of the sections of land enumerated in the Schedule
hereto to be the price stated in the said Schedule.

Vaccination Districts constituted.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in the
Governor by "The Public Health Act, 1876," I, James
Prendergast, the Administrator of the Government of the
Colony of New Zealand, do hereby abolish the existing
vaccination districts known as the Timaru, Temuka, Wai-
mate, Mount Cook, and Duntroon Districts; and do declare
that the territory heretofore comprised within the said dis-
tricts is hereby divided anew into six vaccination districts,
the names whereof shall be the Timaru, Temuka, Waimate,
Mount Cook, Kurow, and Duntroon Districts, and the boun-
daries whereof shall be coterminous with the boundaries of
the marriage districts bearing the same names as are set
forth in a Proclamation of even date herewith, made under
the provisions of "The Marriage Act, 1880."

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Adminis-
trator of the Government, this thirteenth day of
April, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-
two.

fee, &c., Tauranga District.

IN exercise of the powers vested in me by "The Animals
Protection Act, 1880," and the Acts amending the
same, I, James Prendergast, the Administrator of the Govern-
ment of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby notify that
pheasants and Californian quail may be taken or killed
within the Tauranga District, consisting of the Counties of
Tauranga and Rotorua, and so much of the Counties of East
Taupo and Whakatane as lies to the north of the Rangitaiki
River, together with all boroughs therein, from the first
day of May, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-two,
to the thirty-first day of July, one thousand eight hundred
and ninety-two, both inclusive (subject nevertheless to the
