Land Transfer Act Notices.
A STATUTORY declaration of the destruction by fire of
certificate of title, Vol. cxxxv., folio 61, whereof
WILLIAM SPENCE PETER, deceased, is the registered
proprietor, and certificate of title, Vol. cxlii., folio 208,
whereof JANE PETER is the registered proprietor, having
been lodged with me, and an application having been made
for the issue of provisional certificates of title, I hereby give
notice that I shall issue the provisional certificates as re-
quested at the expiration of fourteen days from the date of
the Gazette containing this notice.
Dated at the Lands Registry Office, Christchurch, this
11th day of January, 1892.

PATENT OFFICE SUPPLEMENT.
A SEPARATE Supplement to the New Zealand Gazette is
now published fortnightly, containing all notices con-
cerning patents and trade-marks required by law to be
gazetted; also, particulars of lapsed applications for patents,
expired letters patent, and other information useful to in-
ventors, manufacturers, and others. The Supplement will
be issued free to subscribers to the Gazette, and to others on
payment of a special subscription of ten shillings per annum,
payable in advance to the Government Printer.
THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.
SUBSCRIPTIONS.—The subscription is at the rate of 30s.
per annum, PAYABLE IN ADVANCE. A less period than
three months cannot be subscribed for.
Single copies of the Gazette, 6d. each.
Advertisements are charged at the uniform rate of 6d. per
line for each insertion.
For statements under the Mining Act the charge is 2s.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the
paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible
hand.
The number of insertions required must be written across
the face of the advertisement.
The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday even-
ing in each week, and notices for insertion must be received
by the Government Printer before two o'clock of the day
preceding publication.
Communications should be addressed to the Government
Printer, Wellington, to whom post-office money-orders should
be made payable.
Postage- or duty-stamps cannot be received in payment
from any place at which postal notes or post-office orders are
issued.
Booksellers and Advertising Agents will be allowed a com-
mission at the rate of 5 per cent.
NO ADVERTISEMENT WILL BE INSERTED WITHOUT PREPAY-
MENT BEING MADE.
