Rural Lands in the Auckland Land District open for Sale or Selection.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the third section of "The Land Act Amendment Act, 1887" (hereinafter termed "the said Act"), I, James Prendergast, the Administrator of the Government of the Colony of New Zealand, having received the report of the Surveyor-General in this behalf, as in the said section is provided, do hereby declare that the rural lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be open for sale or selection, after the lapse of a period of not less than forty-five days from the date of the first public notification hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, in the manner and upon the conditions mentioned in the said Act, and at the price per acre stated in the said Schedule.

UNSURVEYED SECOND-CLASS LAND.
Raglan County.
All that parcel of land in the Auckland Land District, situate in the Parish of Whaingaroa, and containing approximately 4,300 acres. Bounded towards the north by Sections Nos. 46 and 45 of the Parish of Whaingaroa; towards the north-east by Sections Nos. 115 and 114 of the same parish, and by a right line being the production of the south-western boundary of the last-named section; towards the south-east by the south-eastern boundary of the Parish of Whaingaroa; towards the south-west by Sections Nos. 104A, 124, 106, and 107 of the said parish; and towards the north-west generally by Sections Nos. 65, 64, 63, 21, 100, 41, 83, 84, 81, and 80 of the said parish, and by a reserve to the point of commencement: save and except Section No. 125 of the said Parish of Whaingaroa from the area hereinbefore described.
All very broken land of fair description, covered with dense forest, and not very accessible. Cash price, 7s. 6d. per acre.
Whangarei County.
All that parcel of land in the Auckland Land District, situate in Blocks IV., V., and VII., Purua Survey District, and containing approximately 3,200 acres. Bounded towards the north-east by Section No. 2 of Block IV., Purua Survey District, and by Sections Nos. 81 and 7 of the Parish of Whangarei; towards the south-east generally by Section No. 26 of the said parish, by the Waihirere Block, by Section No. 2 of Block V., Section No. 1 of Block IV., and Section No. 18 of Block VII., of Purua Survey District, and by the Maketawa, Tunahia, Whakaparapara, and Waipapa Blocks; towards the south-west generally by Section No. 19 of Block VII., Purua Survey District, and by Sections Nos. 145, 12, and 13 of the Parish of Ruatangata; towards the west generally by Section No. 4 of Block IV., Purua Survey District, by Section No. 16A of the Parish of Ruatangata, and by Sections Nos. 3 and 1A of Block IV. aforesaid; and towards the north-west by the Papakuri A Block to the point of commencement.
Nearly all deep swamp; situated about three miles from Kamo Railway-station. Cash price, 7s. 6d. per acre.
