Land Transfer Act Notices.

NOTICE is hereby given that the several parcels of land
hereinafter described will be brought under the pro-
visions of “The Land Transfer Act, 1885,” unless caveat be
lodged forbidding the same on or before the 8th day of
February, 1892.

  1. CAROLINE MARIA ANSON and Others.—546
    acres, parts of Sections 15, 16, 17, and 18, Rangitikei. In
    occupation of John Willoughby Marshall.

Diagrams may be inspected at this office.

Dated this 6th day of January, 1892, at the Lands

A STATUTORY declaration of the loss of certificate of
title, Vol. lxxvi., folio 48, whereof JAMES ASH-
WORTH is the registered Proprietor, having been lodged
with me, and an application having been made for the issue
of a provisional certificate of title, I hereby give notice that
I shall issue the provisional certificate as requested at the
expiration of fourteen days from the date of the Gazette
containing this notice.

Mining Notices.

In the matter of “The Companies Act, 1882,” and its amend-
ments, and in the matter of the Talisman Dredging Com-
pany (Limited).

NOTICE is hereby given that an extraordinary general
of the Talisman Dredging Company (Limited) was
held at the company's office, Exchange Court, Dunedin, on
Wednesday, the 23rd day of December, 1891, at 2 o'clock in
the afternoon, when the following resolution, which was
passed at an extraordinary general meeting of the company,
held on the 7th day of December, 1891, was submitted for
confirmation as a special resolution, and was duly passed and
confirmed :—

“That the company be wound up voluntarily; and that
Alexander Bartleman, of Dunedin, be appointed Liquida-
tor for the purpose of such winding-up.”

Dated at Dunedin, this 29th day of December, 1891.

IN THE MATTER OF THE WAITAHUNA QUARTZ-
MINING COMPANY (LIMITED).

AT an extraordinary general meeting of the members of
the above-named company, duly convened and held
at the registered office of the company, in Rattray Street,
Dunedin, on the 23rd day of December, 1891, the following
extraordinary resolution was duly passed :—

“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meet-
ing that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities,
continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the
same, and, accordingly, that the company be wound up
voluntarily.”

And at the same meeting Thomas Callender, of Dunedin,
Accountant, was appointed Liquidator for the purposes of
such winding-up.

Private Advertisements.

VOLUNTARY WINDING UP OF COMPANY.

AT an extraordinary general meeting of the shareholders
of the Wanganui Dairy Factory Company (Limited),
held at the office of the company's Solicitor in Wanganui,
on the 30th December, 1891, the following extraordinary re-
solution was carried unanimously by the meeting :—

“It has been proved to our satisfaction that the company
cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and
that it is advisable to wind up the same.”

Mr. John McGregor, Alfred Burnett, J. E. Wilson,
and J. Morgan were appointed Liquidators.

and of the China Traders' Insurance Company (Limited).

IN conformity with and for the purposes of section 7 of
the above Act, notice is hereby given that the office or
place of business of the China Traders' Insurance Company
(Limited) in Napier is in Tennyson Street, at the office
of the Hawke's Bay Farmers' Co-operative Association
(Limited).

PATENT OFFICE SUPPLEMENT.

A SEPARATE Supplement to the New Zealand Gazette is
now published fortnightly, containing all notices con-
cerning patents and trade-marks required by law to be
gazetted; also, particulars of lapsed applications for patents,
expired letters patent, and other information useful to in-
ventors, manufacturers, and others. The Supplement will
be issued free to subscribers to the Gazette, and to others on
payment of a special subscription of ten shillings per annum,
payable in advance to the Government Printer.

THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

SUBSCRIPTIONS.—The subscription is at the rate of 30s.
per annum, PAYABLE IN ADVANCE. A less period than
three months cannot be subscribed for.

Single copies of the Gazette, 6d. each.

Advertisements are charged at the uniform rate of 6d. per
line for each insertion.

For statements under the Mining Act the charge is 2s.

All advertisements should be written on one side of the
paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible
hand.

The number of insertions required must be written across
the face of the advertisement.

The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday even-
ing in each week, and notices for insertion must be received
by the Government Printer before two o'clock of the day
preceding publication.

Communications should be addressed to the Government
Printer, Wellington, to whom post-office money-orders should
be made payable.

Postage- or duty-stamps cannot be received in payment
from any place at which postal notes or post-office orders are
issued.

Booksellers and Advertising Agents will be allowed a com-
mission at the rate of 5 per cent.

NO ADVERTISEMENT WILL BE INSERTED WITHOUT PREPAY-
MENT BEING MADE.
