NOTICE is hereby given that THOMAS SYMINGTON AND CO., of Edinburgh, Scotland, and London, England, Chemists, have applied to register, under “The Patents, Designs, and Trade-marks Act, 1889,” the trade-mark of which the following is a representation:—

The applicants claim—(1) to have used the above represented trade-mark for many years prior to the 2nd September, 1889; (2) as the essential particulars of the mark, the device of the whole label: and disclaim any right to the exclusive use of the added matter except the name.

Nature of the Articles to which it is intended such Trade-mark shall apply.

Essence of coffee and chicory.

Class of Goods in connection with which the Applicants desire the Trade-mark to be registered.

Class No. 42.

Any person may, within two months of the date of this Gazette, give notice, in duplicate, at this office, of opposition to the registration of the trade-mark. A fee of £1 is payable with such notice.

SMITH AND CO., of 21, Duke Street, Edinburgh, Scotland, and 12, Worship Street, London, England, Manufacturing and Wholesale Chemists, have applied to register, under “The Patents, Designs, and Trade-marks Act, 1889,” the trade-mark of which the following is a representation:—

NOTICE is hereby given that COLEMANE AND SONS (LIMITED), of Lichfield Street, Christchurch, New Zealand, Eucalypte Manufacturers, have applied to register, under “The Patents, Designs, and Trade-marks Act, 1889,” the trade-mark of which the following is a representation:—

The applicants claim, as the essential particulars of the above-represented trade-mark, a representation of the Eucalypte tree with native figure in the foreground; over these are the words “Colemane & Sons,” and underneath are the words “The Tree of Life; and disclaim any right to the exclusive use of the additional words, namely, “Eucalypte,” “Victory Ointment,” “Pure Extract from the Eucalypte Tree.”

Nature of the Articles to which it is intended such Trade-mark shall apply.

Eucalypte preparations, namely, extract, ointment, pills, rosi, special oil, soap, honey, and lozenges.

Class of Goods in connection with which the Applicants desire the Trade-mark to be registered.

Class No. 3.

Any person may, within two months of the date of this Gazette, give notice, in duplicate, at this office, of opposition to the registration of the trade-mark. A fee of £1 is payable with such notice.
