THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

I, the undersigned, hereby make application to register
the Pegasus Tin-mining and Prospecting Company
of New Zealand (Limited) as a limited company, under the
provisions of “The Mining Companies Act, 1886.”

  1. The name of the company is the Pegasus Tin-mining
    and Prospecting Company of New Zealand (Limited).
  2. The place of intended operations is Pegasus, Stewart
    Island.
  3. The registered office of the company will be situated in
    the Crescent, Invercargill.
  4. The nominal capital of the company is four thousand
    pounds, in four thousand shares of one pound each.
  5. The number of shares subscribed for is four thousand,
    being the entire number of shares in the company.
  6. The number of paid-up shares is nil.
  7. The amount of capital considered to be paid up is three
    thousand five hundred pounds, or seventeen shillings and
    sixpence per share.
  8. The name of the Manager is Christopher Basstian the
    elder.
  9. The names, addresses, and occupations of the share-
    holders, and the number of shares held by each at this date,

    and by virtue of an Act of the General Assembly of New
    Zealand intituled “The Justices of the Peace Act, 1882.”

THE COMMISSIONERS’ FLAT GOLD-MINING COM-
PANY (LIMITED).

NOTICE is hereby given that, under subsection 3 of
section 189 of “The Companies Act, 1882,” an extra-
ordinary meeting of the Commissioners’ Flat Gold-mining
Company (Limited) was held in the company’s office,
Dunedin, on Wednesday, the 23rd day of September, 1891,
at 3 p.m., when the following resolutions were carried, viz. :—

  1. “That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this
    meeting that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities,
    continue its business, and it is advisable that it be wound up.”
  2. “That the company be wound up voluntarily.”
  3. “That Mr. Alexander Bartleman, of Bond Street,
    Dunedin, be appointed Liquidator.”

of the China Traders’ Insurance Company (Limited).
IN conformity with and for the purposes of section 7 of
the above Act, notice is hereby given that, on and after
Monday, the 12th October, 1891, the office or place of
business of the China Traders’ Insurance Company (Limited)
in Wellington will be in Imperial Chambers, No. 6, Feather-
ston Street, instead of in Hunter Street as formerly.

SUBSCRIPTIONS.—The subscription is at the rate of 30s.
per annum, PAYABLE IN ADVANCE. A less period than
three months cannot be subscribed for.
Single copies of the Gazette, 6d. each.
Advertisements are charged at the uniform rate of 6d. per
line for each insertion.
For statements under the Mining Act the charge is 23s.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the
paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible
hand.
The number of insertions required must be written across
the face of the advertisement.
The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday even-
ing in each week, and notices for insertion must be received
by the Government Printer before two o’clock of the day
preceding publication.
Communications should be addressed to the Government
Printer, Wellington, to whom post-office money-orders should
be made payable.
Postage- or duty-stamps cannot be received in payment
from any place at which postal notes or post-office orders are
issued.
Booksellers and Advertising Agents will be allowed a com-
mission at the rate of 5 per cent.
NO ADVERTISEMENT WILL BE INSERTED WITHOUT PREPAY-
MENT BEING MADE.

PATENT OFFICE SUPPLEMENT.

A SEPARATE Supplement to the New Zealand Gazette is
now published fortnightly, containing all notices con-
cerning patents and trade-marks required by law to be
gazetted; also, particulars of lapsed applications for patents,
expired letters patent, and other information useful to in-
ventors, manufacturers, and others. The Supplement will
be issued free to subscribers to the Gazette, and to others on
payment of a special subscription of ten shillings per annum,
payable in advance to the Government Printer.
