Road. This district includes also the Borough of Ashburton,
and has within its boundaries the Town District of Hamp-
stead.

Rangitata comprises the Ridings of Ashburton, Rangitata,
and Mount Somers, of Ashburton County; that portion of
Upper Ashburton Riding, of the same county, which lies to
the west of the Ashburton River; and that part of Wakanui
Riding, of Ashburton County, which lies to the west of the
road leading from the Borough of Ashburton to the beach
via Wakanui; together with that part of Raukapuka Riding,
of Geraldine County, which is situated on the east side of
the Haehaetemoana River and west of Campbell’s Road,
running past Woodbury and east of the Waihi River; that
part of Mount Peel Riding, of Geraldine County, which
lies east of the Waihi Gorge Road, and of a line drawn to
the summit of Four Peaks Range, thence to the source of
the south branch of the Orari River, then along that river
and the Tripp’s Pass Road down to the North Opuha River,
and thence up that river to its source, thence over the Saddle
and on to Forest Creek; and that part of Temuka Riding
situated north-east of Ohapi Creek, and north of Barker’s
Road. Tinwald and Geraldine Town Districts are in this
electorate.

Pareora comprises the whole of Mackenzie County; the
Ridings of Lower Pareora, Upper Pareora, and that portion
of Otaio Riding lying to the north of Woolshed Gully Road,
and east of the road leading past Bluecliffs to the Otaio
River; and the whole of the Levels Riding, of Geraldine
County, excepting that portion in the present Timaru
Electoral District; together with that portion of Mount
Peel Riding lying to the west of a line running from the
Waihi Gorge Road to the summit of Four Peaks Range,
thence to the source of the south branch of the Orari
River, thence along the Orari River and the Tripp’s Pass
Road down to the North Opuha River, and thence up that
river to its source, and thence over the saddle and on to
Forest Creek; and that portion of Temuka Riding lying to
the west of Ohapi Creek and south of Barker’s Road; and
that portion of Raukapuka Riding lying to the west of the
Haehaetemoana River, west of Campbell’s Road, passing
Woodbury, and south of the Waihi River. The Town Dis-
tricts of Temuka and Arowhenua are in this electorate.

Timaru.—This district is unaltered.

Waitaki comprises the Ridings of Hakateramea, North
Waihao, Deep Creek, and Makikihi, of Waimate County;
and that portion of the Otaio Riding, of the same county,
which is situated south of Woolshed Gully Road and west of
the road leading past Bluecliffs to the Otaio River; together
with the Ridings of Awamoko, Ahuriri, and Otakaika, of
Waitaki County; and that portion of Waiareka Riding, of
the last-named county, which lies to the north of the
northern boundaries of Kauroo and Oamaru Survey Districts,
in the locality of Elderslie Railway-station; and that por-
tion of Papakaio Riding, of Waitaki County, which lies
generally north of a line commencing at the western boun-
dary of Block III., Papakaio Survey District, on the road
from Peebles to Duntrroon, and following the western, north-
ern, and eastern boundaries of the said Block III., and the
northern and eastern boundaries of Block IV., Papakaio, to
the railway-line; and along the railway-line to Waitaki
Bridge; and that portion of Incholme Riding, of Waitaki
County, which lies north of the Kauroo River; and that part
of Otepopo Riding, of Waitaki County, which lies west of the
railway-line and of Herbert Township, and north of the
north branch of the Waianakarua River. This district in-
cludes also the Borough of Waimate, and includes within
its boundaries the Township of Maheno.

Oamaru comprises the Kakanui Riding, of Waitaki County;
that portion of the Waiareka Riding, of the same county,
which is situated south of the Awamoko and Papakaio Sur-
vey Districts; together with that portion of Papakaio Riding,
of Waitaki County, which lies generally south of a line com-
mencing at Waitaki Bridge, and proceeding along the rail-
way-line to the eastern boundary of Block IV., Papakaio
Survey District, and thence along the eastern and northern
boundaries of that block, and the eastern, northern, and
western boundaries of Block III., Papakaio, to the road
leading from Peebles to Duntrroon; and that portion of
Incholme Riding which lies south-east of the Kauroo River.
This district includes also the Borough of Oamaru.

Waihemo comprises the whole of Maniototo County; and the
whole of Waihemo County, excepting Goodwood Riding and
that portion of Macrae’s Riding situated south-west of the
road leading from Macrae’s to Hyde via Deepdell; together
with the Moeraki Riding, of Waitaki County; that portion of
Otepopo Riding, of the same county, which is situated south
of the north branch of the Waianakarua River, and east
of the Southern Trunk Railway-line; and the Township of
Mahemo. This district includes also the Boroughs of Naseby,
Palmerston, and Hampden. The Township of Herbert is
within the boundaries of this electorate.

Waikouaiti comprises the whole of Peninsula County, and
Goodwood Riding, of Waihemo County; together with the
whole of Waikouaiti County, excepting that portion of
North-east Valley Riding between the Boroughs of Port
Chalmers and West Harbour, and enclosed by a line starting
at the north-eastern boundary-line of the latter borough, and
proceeding north-westerly along the road which forms the
south-western boundaries of Sections 11, 9, 7, 5, 3, 1, 36,
38, 40, and 42, Sawyer’s Bay District; thence north-easterly
and south-easterly generally along the boundaries of that
district to the Borough of Port Chalmers. This district in-
cludes also the Borough of Hawksbury.

Dunedin North comprises the Boroughs of West Harbour,
Maori Hill, Port Chalmers, and North-east Valley; and that
portion of the Borough of Roslyn which is situated south-
east of Helensburgh Road, east of West Taieri Road, north-
west of Broughton Township, and north-east of a line com-
mencing at the original south-western boundary of Section 20,
Upper Kaikorai District (now closed road-line), and proceed-
ing south-easterly along the south-west boundaries of original
Sections 20, 18, 16, 14, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, and 2, Block III.,
Upper Kaikorai District, and along the south-west boundary
of original Section 1, Block II., Upper Kaikorai District,
to the Town Belt of the City of Dunedin. This district
comprises also that portion of North-east Valley Riding, of
Waikouaiti County, which is situated between the Boroughs
of Port Chalmers and West Harbour, and enclosed by the
following: On the south-west by the Borough of West Har-
bour and the road fronting Sections 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, 37, 39,
41, and 43, Sawyer’s Bay District; on the north-west and
north-east generally by the north-western and north-eastern
boundaries of Sawyer’s Bay District; towards the north by
the northern boundary of Sawyer’s Bay District; on the
east by the Borough of Port Chalmers; and on the south by
the Port Chalmers Railway-line.

City of Dunedin comprises the City of Dunedin, with that
portion of the Borough of Caversham situated east of Section
18, Town District, and south of the Main South Road,
and north of Cargill Road; and that other portion of the
Borough of Caversham lying between the Boroughs of South
Dunedin and St. Kilda, and east of Forbury Road; together
with the whole of the Borough of South Dunedin and the
whole of the Borough of St. Kilda; and that portion of the
Borough of Mornington situated west of Hawthorn Road,
north-east of Elgin Road and of Argyle Street, in Primrose
Hill Township, and of the Glen Road.

Caversham comprises that portion of the Borough of
Roslyn which is situated generally south-west of Helens-
burgh Road, West Taieri Road, south-west of Waikari Town-
ship, and of a line drawn along the south-western boundaries
of original Sections 20, 18, 16, 14, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, and 2,
Block III., Upper Kaikorai, and along the south-western
boundary of Section 1, Block II., Upper Kaikorai, to the
Town Belt of the City of Dunedin; also that portion of the
Borough of Mornington situated to the south-west of Glen
Road, Argyle Street, and Elgin Road, and south-east of Ham-
thorn Road; together with that portion of the Borough of
Caversham situated west of Section 17, Town District, and
of Forbury Road. This district includes also the Borough of
Green Island, and the Kaikorai Riding, of Taieri County.

Taieri comprises the whole of Taieri County, excepting
the Kaikorai Riding; together with Clarendon Riding, of
Bruce County; and Waipori Riding, of Tuapeka County;
and that portion of Macrae’s Riding, of Waihemo County,
situated to the south-west of the road leading from Macrae’s
to Hyde by way of Deepdell; and also the Borough of Mos-
giel. Greytown and Outram Town Districts are in this
electorate.

Bruce comprises the whole of Bruce County, excepting
Clarendon Riding; together with Clydevale Riding, of
Clutha County; and Waitahuna Riding, of Tuapeka
County; and the whole of Clark’s Riding, of the same
county, excepting that portion which is included within
a line commencing at Lawrence and proceeding along
the road starting between Sections 99 and 100, Block II.,
Tuapeka East, and continuing southerly through that block
to the railway-line near Section 29, thence along the
railway-line to Forsyth Railway-station, thence along the
road continuing south-westerly, passing Sections 10, 24, 28,
39, 25, and 63, Block V., Tuapeka East, Sections 18, 46, and
47, Block VII., Waitahuna East, and Sections 25, 20, 19,
22, 24, 13, and 84, Block VI., Waitahuna West, to Break-
neck Road, and thence along the riding boundary to Law-
rence. This district includes also the Boroughs of Milton
and Kaitangata.

Clutha comprises the whole of Clutha County, excepting
Clydevale Riding; together with Tapanui Riding, of Tua-
peka County; and that portion of Mataura Riding, of South-
land County, which is situated north of the Southern Trunk
Railway-line and of the Borough of Gore; and south-east of
the Okapua Stream. This district includes also the Boroughs
of Balclutha and Tapanui, and has within its boundaries
Clinton Town District.

Tuapeka comprises the whole of Tuapeka County, except-
ing the Ridings of Waitahuna, Waipori, and Tapanui; and
excepting also that portion of Clark’s Riding excluded by a
line commencing at the Borough of Lawrence and proceed-
