the Schedule hereto, shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of “The Public Domains Act, 1881;” and such domain shall hereafter be managed, administered, and dealt with in manner directed by the said Act.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land in the Land District of Canterbury, containing by admeasurement 57 acres, more or less, being Section No. 2915 (in red), formerly part of Reserve No. 642, situate in Block XIV., Waitaki Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Lots Nos. 101 and 102, subdivision of Reserve No. 642; towards the south-east by the road forming the south-west boundaries of Lots Nos. 105 and 106, subdivision of Reserve No. 642; towards the south-west by the road reserved along the River Waitaki; and towards the north-west by the road forming the south-east boundary of Lot No. 110, subdivision of Reserve No. 642: save and excepting thereout Reserve No. 2914, containing 5 acres, which is included within the above-described boundaries; as the same is delineated on the map deposited in the District Survey Office, Christchurch.

Powers delegated to the Waitaki North Domain Board under “The Public Domains Act, 1881.”

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-third day of September, 1891.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor in Council.
WHEREAS by the twelfth section of “The Public Domains Act, 1881,” it is, inter alia, enacted that the Governor, by Order in Council, may from time to time delegate all or any of the powers by the said Act conferred, save as is therein mentioned, to any person or persons for any period, and subject to such stipulations as may be specified in such order, and that every such delegation may from time to time in like manner be altered or revoked: And whereas pursuant to “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” by an Order in Council of even date herewith, the land described in the Schedule thereto is declared to be brought under the operation of and to be subject to the provisions of the said “Public Domains Act, 1881:”
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the Colony of New Zealand, doth, by this present order, delegate all the powers conferred by the Act first above mentioned, except the powers under or conferred by sections five and twelve, to the under-mentioned persons, who shall be known as the Waitaki North Domain Board, namely,—

DAVID RITCHIE,
WILLIAM JOSEPH WILLIAMS,
JOHN GRAY, and
NICHOLAS O’TOOLE
(herein referred to as “the Board”), subject to the stipulations hereinafter contained, that is to say,—

The Board shall meet for the transaction of business on the first Monday in each month, at eight o’clock p.m., at the Schoolhouse, Waitaki North, or at such other time or place as may from time to time be fixed by the Board. The first meeting shall be held on Monday, the second day of November, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-one.

Special meetings may be convened by the Chairman or by any two members of the Board, provided that two days’ notice of such meeting be given to each member, specifying the business to be transacted at such special meeting, and no other business than that so specified shall be transacted at such meeting.

Any three of the said Board shall form a quorum. Any meeting may be adjourned from time to time.

The members of the Board shall, at their first meeting, and thereafter at an annual meeting to be held on the first Monday in January in every succeeding year thereafter, elect one of themselves to be Chairman, who may join in the discussion, and shall have an original as well as a casting vote. The Chairman shall hold office until the election of his successor.

If at any meeting the Chairman is not present at the time appointed for holding the same, the members present shall choose some one of their number to be Chairman of such meeting.

If, by resignation, death, or incapacity, or otherwise, the office of Chairman shall be or become vacant, the members may at any monthly or special meeting appoint a Chairman.

All questions shall be determined by the majority of votes of the members of the Board present at a meeting.

Pukearuhe Recreation-ground brought under “The Public Domains Act, 1881.”

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-fifth day of September, 1891.

His Excellency the Governor in Council.
BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the twenty-fourth section of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” I, William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, do hereby order and declare that the reserve made for public recreation in the Land District of Taranaki, and known as the Pukearuhe Recreation-ground, and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of “The Public Domains Act, 1881;” and such domain shall hereafter be managed, administered, and dealt with in manner directed by the said Act by the Domain Board constituted by an Order in Council issued on the fourteenth day of January, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land in the Land District of Taranaki, containing by admeasurement 12 acres, more or less, being Sections Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, and 30, Township of Pukearuhe. Bounded on the north-east by Gregory Street, 1000 links; on the south-east by Messenger Street, 1200 links; on the south-west by Stirling Road, 1000 links; and on the north-west by Rotter Street, 1200 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, New Plymouth.
All that parcel of land in the Land District of Taranaki, containing by admeasurement 8 acres 2 roods, more or less, being Section No. 2, Pukearuhe Town Belt. Bounded on the north and east by the Pacific Ocean; on the south by Section No. 1, 350 links; and on the west by Page Terrace, 3145 and 400 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, New Plymouth.
All that parcel of land in the Land District of Taranaki, containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, being Section No. 9, Pukearuhe Town Belt. Bounded on the north, west, and south by the Pacific Ocean; and on the south-east by Rotter Terrace, 2940 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, New Plymouth.

Exchange of Land in Canterbury.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-fifth day of September, 1891.

His Excellency the Governor in Council.
WHEREAS the land mentioned in the first column of the Schedule hereto was reserved as an endowment for a school of agriculture: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient to exchange the said land for that mentioned in the second column of the Schedule hereto:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Earl of Onslow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the fourth section of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” and the third section of “The Public Reserves Act Amendment Act, 1889,” doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the said reserve mentioned in the first column of the Schedule hereto shall be exchanged for the land mentioned in the second column of the Schedule hereto.
