Land Transfer Act Notices.

NOTICE is hereby given that the several parcels of land hereinafter described will be brought under the provisions of “The Land Transfer Act, 1885,” unless caveat be lodged forbidding the same on or before the 3rd day of October, 1891.

  1. THE WELLINGTON AND MANAWATU RAILWAY COMPANY (LIMITED).—28 acres and 7 perches, part of Section 57, Wainui. In occupation of Charles Cowan.

  2. JOSEPH FRANCIS.—Part of Section 537, City of Wellington (Mulgrave Street). In occupation of tenants. Diagrams may be inspected at this office.

Mining Notices.

In the matter of “The Companies Act, 1882,” and its amendments, and in the matter of the Talisman Dredging Company (Limited).

NOTICE is hereby given that, at an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company, duly convened and held at the company’s registered office, Exchange Court, Dunedin, on the 28th day of July, 1891, the following special resolution was duly passed; and at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting of the said company, also duly convened and held at the same place on the 11th day of August, 1891, the following resolution was duly confirmed, namely:—

“That the company be wound up voluntarily; and that Alexander Bartleman, of Dunedin, be appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up.”

IN THE SUPREME COURT OF NEW ZEALAND, NORTHERN DISTRICT.

In the matter of “The Companies Act, 1882,” and in the matter of the Taupiri Reserve Colliery Company (Limited).

NOTICE is hereby given that the order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, at Auckland, dated the 25th day of August, 1891, confirming the reduction of the capital of the above-named company from £25,000 to £12,500, and the minute (approved by the Court) showing with respect to the capital of the company as altered the several particulars required by the above statute, were registered by the Registrar of Joint-stock Companies, at Auckland aforesaid, on the 27th day of August, 1891. And further take notice that the said minute is in the words and figures following:—

“The capital of the Taupiri Reserve Colliery Company (Limited) is £12,500, divided into 25,000 shares of ten shillings each. At the time of the registration of this minute the sum of ten shillings per share has been and is to be deemed paid up on each of 3,000 shares called A shares, and the sum of three shillings per share has been and is to be deemed paid up on each of 16,215 shares called B shares, and upon the remaining 5,785 shares never issued by the company and called C shares no sum per share has been or is to be deemed to be paid up.”
