WALLACE COUNTY COUNCIL.
NOTICE UNDER “THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT, 1882,” AND AMENDMENTS.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Wallace County Council propose to take part of Sections 21 and 22, Waiau District, for a public road, and that the said Council have caused a plan to be prepared showing the land required to be taken, namely, 26 acres and 27 perches for the same, together with the names of the owners and occupiers of such land as far as they can be ascertained; and that such plan is deposited at the office of the said Council, Riverton, and open for inspection by all persons at all reasonable hours; and all persons affected are hereby called upon to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the execution of such work or the taking of such lands, and to send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Wallace County Council, at their office at Riverton.

NOTICE.
NOTICE is hereby given that on the 10th day of February, 1891, the Partnership theretofore subsisting between GODFREY CHARLES BORTON, of Dunedin, in the Provincial District of Otago, and EDMUND CLARKE, of the same place, in the business of Civil Engineers, Surveyors, Land, and General Agents, carried on by them under the style of “Borton and Clarke,” was on that day dissolved by mutual consent.

WE, the undersigned, presently carrying on business in Gisborne as Timber and General Merchants, Commission Agents, and Carriers, under the style or firm of “Clayton and Sawyer,” in virtue of a deed of partnership between us, dated the 26th April, 1890, do hereby, by mutual consent, dissolve the said copartnership as from the 11th day of August, 1891. All outstanding accounts owing to the said firm on the 11th August, 1891, will be collected by Clayton and Company, Gisborne, who will discharge the same, and who will pay all liabilities of the firm of Clayton and Sawyer.

AT an extraordinary general meeting of the shareholders of the New Zealand Schoolmasters’ Newspaper Company (Limited), held in the offices of the company on the 8th day of August, 1891, the following resolution was passed: “That the company be wound up voluntarily; and that Mr. F. E. Wright be appointed Liquidator.” This resolution was confirmed at an extraordinary meeting of shareholders held on the 22nd day of August, 1891.

SUBSCRIPTIONS.—The subscription is at the rate of 30s. per annum, PAYABLE IN ADVANCE. A less period than three months cannot be subscribed for.
Single copies of the Gazette, 6d. each.
Advertisements are charged at the uniform rate of 6d. per line for each insertion.
For statements under the Mining Act the charge is 23s.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible hand.
The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.
