Mining Notices.
THE STANLEY GOLD-MINING COMPANY (LIMITED).
AT an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders of the Stanley Gold-mining Company (Limited), duly convened and held at the company’s office on the 26th June, 1891, the subjoined special resolution was duly passed; and at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting of the said company, also duly convened and held at the same place on the 13th July, 1891, the subjoined special resolution was duly confirmed, namely, “That the company be wound up voluntarily under the provisions of ‘The Companies Act, 1882;’” and at such last meeting HENRY GILFILLAN, Jun., of Auckland, was appointed Liquidator for the purpose of winding-up.

IN THE SUPREME COURT OF NEW ZEALAND,
CANTERBURY DISTRICT.
In the matter of “The Companies Act, 1882,” and in the matter of the Silver King Silver- and Lead-mining Company (Limited), in liquidation.
THE creditors of the above-named company are required, on or before the 18th day of August next, to send their names, addresses, and the particulars of their debts or claims, and the names and addresses of their solicitors, if any, to Samuel Manning, Esq., of Christchurch, in the above-named district, the Official Liquidator of the said company; and, if so required by notice in writing from the said Official Liquidator, are, by their solicitor, to come in and prove their said debts or claims at the Registrar’s Office, in the Supreme Courthouse, at Christchurch aforesaid, at such time as shall be specified in such notice, or, in default thereof, they will be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts are proved.
Tuesday, the 1st day of September, 1891, at 10.30 o’clock in the forenoon, at the Chambers of His Honour Mr. Justice Denniston, Christchurch aforesaid, is appointed for hearing and adjudicating upon the debts and claims.

NOTICE is hereby given that, under the provisions of “The Public Works Act, 1882,” it is the intention of the Upper Mahurangi Road Board to take land for a public road, 1 chain wide, through the following properties, viz.: Lots 40, 73, 71, and 69, Parish of Kourawhero, of the approximate areas respectively of 1 acre 2 roods 14 perches, 3 acres 1 rood 4 perches, 1 rood 36 perches, and 3 acres 3 roods 13 perches; also through Lots 69, 70, and 71, Parish of Mahurangi, of the approximate areas respectively of 2 roods, 2 roods 28 perches, 39 perches, 1 acre 1 rood, and 3 acres 1 rood 10 perches.
Plans showing line of proposed road lie open for inspection at the office of the Board, Warkworth.
The works proposed to be executed are clearing, forming, and culverts.
All persons affected are hereby called upon to set forth in writing any well-grounded objection to the execution of such works or to the taking of such lands, and to send such writing within forty days from the first publication of this notice to me,—

NOTICE is hereby given that, in pursuance of section 202 of “The Companies Act, 1882,” a General Meeting of the members of the above-named company will be held at the registered office of the company, Chamber of Commerce, Dunedin, on Friday, the 9th day of October, 1891, at 3 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of having an account laid before them showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liquidators; and also of determining by extraordinary resolution the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company and of the Liquidators thereof shall be disposed of.
