WALTER HISLOP, of Dunedin, in the Provincial District of Otago and Colony of New Zealand, Manager of the Perpetual Trustees Estate and Agency Company of New Zealand (Limited), do solemnly and sincerely declare—

  1. That the liability of the members is limited.

  2. That the capital of the company is £115,625, divided into 25,000 shares of £4 12s. 6d. each.

  3. That the number of shares issued is 21,669.

  4. That calls to the amount of £1 2s. 6d. per share have been made, under which the sum of £24,377 12s. 6d. has been received.

  5. That the amount of all moneys received on account of estates under administration during the last six months is £1,202 4s. 7d.

  6. That the amount of all moneys paid on account of estates under administration during the last six months is £2,218 4s. 6d.

  7. That the amount of the balance held to the credit of estates under administration is £100 13s. 0d.

  8. That the liabilities of the company on the 1st day of May last were—Debts owing by the company to sundry persons on simple contracts, £9,145 10s. 9d.

  9. That the assets of the company on that day were—Bills of exchange and promissory notes, £229 8s. 8d.; cash in hand and at bankers, £2,836 11s. 3d.; other securities and moneys owing to the company, £12,142 0s. 1d.; other assets, £12,667 13s. 3d.

And I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true, and by virtue of an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand intituled “The Justices of the Peace Act, 1882.”

IN THE SUPREME COURT OF NEW ZEALAND,

OTAGO AND SOUTHLAND DISTRICT.

In the matter of “The Companies Act, 1882,” and its amendments, and of Kincaid, McQueen, and Company (Limited).

THE creditors of the above-named company are required, on or before the 21st day of August, 1891, to send their names and addresses, and the particulars of their debts or claims, and the names and addresses of their solicitors, if any, to Arthur John Burns of Dunedin, Manufacturer, and Walter Hislop of Dunedin, Estate Agent, the Official Liquidators of the said company, at the office of the company, Great King Street, Dunedin; and, if so required by notice in writing from the said Official Liquidators, are, by their solicitors, to come in and prove their said debts or claims at the Registrar’s Office, in the Supreme Courthouse, at Dunedin, at such time as shall be specified in such notice, or, in default thereof, they will be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts are proved.

Friday, the 4th day of September, 1891, at 11 o’clock in the forenoon, at the Registrar’s said Office, is appointed for hearing and adjudicating upon the said debts and claims.

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the shareholders of the Maharahara Copper-mining Company (Limited), held at the registered office of the said company, Tennyson Street, Napier, on Friday, the 5th day of June, 1891, the special resolutions hereinafter set forth were passed, and at a further extraordinary general meeting of the said company, held at the registered office aforesaid on Monday, the 29th day of June, 1891, were duly confirmed:—

  1. “That this company be wound up voluntarily.”

  2. “That Mr. Horace Baker be appointed Liquidator.”
