THE following special order, made by the Manganui Road Board, is published in accordance with “The Road Boards Act, 1882.”

SPECIAL ORDER passed by the Manganui Road Board, at its meeting held for that purpose on the 4th July, 1891 :—
That, to secure the repayment of a loan of £1,200, raised under “The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886,” for the purpose of forming and metalling the Salisbury Road, a special rate of 2d. in the pound be struck over the Salisbury Road Special Rating District, to be composed of the following sections : Sections 14, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, Block XIII., Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, Block XIV., Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, Block X., Section 19, Block IX., Huiroa Survey District. Such rate to be an annually-recurring rate for twenty-six years, or for as long as the loan shall remain unpaid, and will be payable, in two half-yearly instalments, on the 1st January and the 1st July in each year.
