CHANGE OF OFFICE.

In the matter of “The Foreign Companies Act, 1884,” and of the North Queensland Insurance Company (Limited).

NOTICE is hereby given that the office of the undersigned, in Crawford Street, Dunedin, is the office where the business of the above-named company at Dunedin will in future be carried on, and at which legal proceedings may be served upon the said company, and all notices or communications may be sent or left.

TAKING LAND FOR PUBLIC WORKS.

RIWAKA ROAD DISTRICT, WAIMEA COUNTY.

WHEREAS the Riwaka Road Board do propose constructing a road up the Riwaka Valley, from the western boundary of Section 26 to a point near the junction of the north and south branches of the said river; and thence up both branches to the boundaries of Messrs. Thomas Brothers’ land; also from the said North Branch Road to Section 45, and also from the said North Branch Road to Section 51:

This is to give notice that plans of the said proposed roads, showing lands required for the purpose, may be inspected at the residence of the undersigned; and also that all affected persons having well-grounded objections to the construction of the said roads or to the taking of such lands as are required (a general description of which is set forth in Schedule attached) are requested, within forty days from the date of this notice, to forward their objections in writing to the Chairman of the Riwaka Road Board.

SCHEDULE ABOVE REFERRED TO.

Commencing at a point on the western boundary of Section 26, at a distance of about 150 links from the Riwaka River; and thence in a general westerly direction along the north side of the river, through said Section 26 and part of Part Section 27, to peg xv., a distance of about 7431 links; thence along the northern side of the north branch of the river to peg xxxii.B, near the north-west corner of Section 23, a distance of about 9477 links; also up the south branch of the river from afore-mentioned peg xv. to the western boundary of Section 54, passing for the greater part of its length along the northern side of the said south branch, a distance of about 11160 links; also from peg xix., on the said North Branch Road, in an easterly direction to the south-west corner of Section 45, a distance of about 384 links. The land required for the above-mentioned roads being of an average width of 100 links, and for the proposed road which commences at a point about 300 links eastward of peg xxiii. on the said North Branch Road, and thence in a southerly direction to the north-east corner of Section 51 a distance of about 1590 links, a width of 50 links of land will be required.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto existing between WILLIAM REECE and CHARLES STUART REECE, both of Christchurch, trading under the style of “Edward Reece and Sons,” as Importers of Hardware and General Merchandise, has this day been dissolved by mutual consent.

The business will continue to be carried on, under the style of “Edward Reece and Sons,” by the said William Reece upon his sole account, and he will pay all debts due by, and collect all moneys owing to, the late firm.
