visions of “The Land Transfer Act, 1885,” unless caveat be
lodged forbidding the same in each case on or before the
20th day of July, 1891.

registered Proprietor, and a statutory declaration of the loss
of the said certificate of title having been lodged with me,
and an application having been made for the issue of a pro-
visional certificate of title, I hereby give notice that I shall
register such dealing and issue the provisional certificate as
requested at the expiration of fourteen days from the date of
the Gazette containing this notice.

Mining Notices.
THE HORSESHOE BEND, KAWARAU RIVER, GOLD-
MINING COMPANY (LIMITED).
AT an extraordinary general meeting of the members of
the above-named company, duly convened and held at
the registered office of the said company, Exchange Court,
Princes Street, Dunedin, on the 9th day of June, 1891, the
subjoined extraordinary resolution was duly passed:—
“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meet-
ing that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities,
continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the
same, and, accordingly, that the company be wound up
voluntarily.”
And at the same meeting ANDREW HAMILTON, of Dun-
edin, Broker, was appointed Liquidator for the purposes of the
winding-up, and his remuneration was fixed at £5 per
cent. on the amount of the assets realised.
Dated at Dunedin, this 10th day of June, 1891.

IN THE MATTER OF THE WELCOME SILVER-
MINING COMPANY (LIMITED).
NOTICE is hereby given that an Extraordinary General
Meeting of this company will be held on Friday, the
26th day of June instant, at the hour of half-past 8 o’clock
in the afternoon, at Warner’s Commercial Hotel, Cathedral
Square, Christchurch, for the purpose of submitting to the
company, and, if it is thought proper, passing, the following
extraordinary resolution:—
“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of the com-
pany that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities,
continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the
same, and that accordingly the company be wound up
voluntarily under the provisions of the Companies Acts.
That Joseph Frederick Ward, of Christchurch, Accountant,
be, and he is hereby appointed, Liquidator for the purpose of
winding-up the affairs of the company.”
